THEME SONGS

Two weeks ago we were treated to an "Oscar" like Hollywood extravaganza when the Democrats had their little get-together.  Everyone had a theme song to the point where one afternoon conservative talk show host Michael Medved was waxing poetic, and a bit hilarious, about what songs were going to be played for whom.  They had, glitz, glitter, and glamor.  They had Oprah, Barbara, and a cast of tens of thousands.  There were fireworks.  There were meaningful emotional experiences as The One communed with his loving followers.  They made my beloved Republicans look like a bunch of dorky squares. Okay, they are. 

It's been a long, rough, emotional week.  We need a break and we need a laugh.  In an attempt to provide both, I've come up with my list of suggested themes for misc. Republicans.  This is the music that should have been played (in my humble estimation) at the convention.  If you disagree, let me know your pick. Just to be fair, I did provide a special presentation for Barack Obama.  You fill find it at the end.
