I'm Glad the Conventions Are Over

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5

This morning I woke up rather early and felt surprisingly dis-oriented. It dawned on me that it was early September. The "fall" TV season should be starting, or has, not that I even watched a "new" show on "network" last year. I don't even think I watched much of Law and Order. Stupid-ball (football) has started. I hate football. I detest football. I think football is a blight on the tush of the civilized world. It too has started. BREAKING: New Mexico Cats Need Help

A CAT EMERGENCY

Today I learned that here in Lincoln County, NM a man was arrested for hording something like 100 cats in is single-wide mobile home. From what I've been told it is the single worst case of "pet hording" and animal abuse in New Mexico history. My contact was also telling me that an independent rescue group is going to be working to help rescue as many cats as possible.

The local humane society is notorious for “murdering” cats. They are over-whelmed after the recent floods, and have alleged to have put something like 30 cats to death ... more »
