Thirteen Things on My "Desk"
Once again I don't have time for a "real" Thursday Thirteen that is exciting with bells and whistles. So, I am doing the old stand-by listing 13 things on my "desk" which is really my grandmother's old dining room table.
1. Miss Beverly Sills, AKA Bubbles Silverman. Bubbles is feeling quite mature these days, considering that she will be turning 1 next Tuesday. We're planning a maga birthday bash TT for next week. She is reclining in THE BOX. I don't understand the popularity of THE BOX. The Pink Flamingo kitties battle over the blasted box. We've been using the same refugee from the garbage (an Amazon box) for months now. We do have another Amazon box on the floor, but it is not as popular.
2. Electornics:
Sony Cyber Shot
Blackberry
New Ipod
Casio Ex-Slim Camera (downloading as I write)
Amazon Kindle
3. Beneful Snackin' Slices (Not for me, for Rumsfeld. He loves 'em!)
4. Stack of 23 CD's I am loading into iTunes. DO NOT under any circumstances download v.8. It deleted all everything but "purchased" music. I've been downloading in spurts for a week. I downloaded - for the first time - 2 movies. Yes, naturally they were Tombst
one and Wyatt Earp.
5. Movable drug store containing Tums, Camille Beckman Orange Cream flavored Glycerine Hand Therapy (Best stuff I've ever used), and a new jar of Vicks Vapor-rub (great for allergies).
6. My 18th century Pennsylvania-Dutch candle dryer that is now the ultimate cat toy. Go figure?
7. A rolled magazine, tapped. It is used for an attitude adjustment for Rumseld when he goes at the cats.
8. Envelopes, check-book, stamps (Take Me Out to the Ballgame), address labels. Yep - bill paying. That's one reason I'm late today. I was trying to get a packet to the post office before the mail went out today.
9. Levenger day planner. I use the Circa system and love it!
10. Word Press for Dummies (enough said).
