Have you ever had one of those mornings when you knew something bad was going to happen? This morning I woke up thinking someone I cared about was going to die today. Well, it happened. A dear friend, Bonnye Rich, finally lost her battle with congestive heart failure. She "went" beautifully, in her sleep during the night. She and her husband, Tim, were married well over 50 years. Tim's not handling things well, so please keep him and their family in your prayers.

WE ARE THE ONE
President Bush has asked Barack Obama to return to DC to work on the financial problems facing our nation. Is Obama going to thumb his nose at the President? He needs to remember that GWB is still POTUS until January 20 or so. He has talked down the economy, Sarah Palin and John McCain. After all, we are The One. That's all anyone needs to know. His marxist-socialist friends don't matter. His associations with a convicted felon don't matter. All that matters is the fact that he is the Chosen One.

MCCAIN: America this week faces an historic crisis in our financial system. We must pass legislation to address this crisis. If we do not, credit will dry up, with devastating consequences for our economy. People will no longer be able to buy homes and their life savings will be at stake.
