Summer Officially Over as Metropolitan Opera Opens Tonight

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

It's that time of year. Summer is over. The Met is in full bloom, opening tonight. The only reason I even emotionally handle the end of summer is for The Met. I can't believe it is now the 125th anniversary already yet.

Cute Baby Alert - John Stephenson at Stop the ACLU has a pin-up picture of 4.5 month old Reagan, his daughter.

The dig at the WTC site has revealed Ice Age bedrock. Yes, I know it is a somber moment but all I can think of is, cue the Flintstones!

The other day when we heard that Sarah Palin's personal email account had been hacked, let's face it, most of us knew who done it - and that who done it would ultimately be connected to the Obama Campaign. They are terrified of Sarah Palin and will do ANYTHING to destroy her. Don't You Think the Dissing of Sarah Palin Has Gone Far Enough?

FED UP!

Friday around 11:30AM I had the honor and the deep personal satisfaction of putting my very first Sarah Palin bumper sticker on my Durango. The whole process was something akin to a ceremony celebrating how right the world can sometimes be, and how quickly the evil actions of evil individuals can turn what should be a moment of triumph into something quite bitter-sweet. I thought about the attacks on "Our Sarah" and it made me angry. I hurt for her. I hurt for her family, and they are in my prayers - constantly.
