The Pink Flamingo :: The Attacks on Sarah Palin Are Giving Me a Headache!

I woke up this morning with a migraine. My head has hurt all day to the point where it is difficult for me to get anything done. Considering I need to do 2 day's work today, it isn't good. Rumsfeld has been running around yapping like a perfect little horror. My head hurt so bad this afternoon I caught myself getting ready to spank him. He was just being an obnoxious little you know what. Maggie and Raymond were here and he's always annoying when they are here, like a little kid running around with a favorite relative comes to visit. He was chasing every cat in the house.

Add reading the you know what that has come out of the MSM and liberal political world did not help. I finally had to do what my mother always does. I asked myself what was making my head hurt. I also tossed back a couple of Advil. It dawned on me that I am taking these attacks on Sarah Palin personally. It is like my judgment is being attacked. And - I am mad. I am furious.

This is a slap at my judgment. I am not that narcissistic to think I'm the be all and end all. I'm just a fly on the wall, but this fly has been working on the Palin story for a little over a year. I dedicated a year of my life helping to get to this point. Aside from the Fred Barnes article, I had one of the first national web articles on her - a year ago.

As a woman I am furious.

As a woman and a Republican I was furious when Barack Obama battered Hillary Clinton to the point of tears.

As a woman I resent the way Barack Obama treats women, including not paying the women on his staff as much as he pays the men on his staff.

Barack Obama is protesting too much when he says he will not people around him to attack Palin's family.

The latest Democrat charge, that the Palins are "white trash" or "trailer trash" and Bristol's intended, Levy Johnston is "trailer trash". Anyone who has 5 children is "trailer trash". I think this photo of the Palin home dispels the "trailer trash" image. They are outright lying about the whole "troopergate" scenario.

I pay little attention to the MSM. I'm extremely annoyed with FOX for reporting the Obama party line and are literally doing all they can to get him elected. We're dealing with an incompetent Democratic Nominee for POTUS. He is so incompetent, he is like a wounded rabid animal, vicious and willing to strike at the throat of anyone who makes him look bad. After all, he's doing such a good job on his own, making himself look bad. There is something wrong with a person who does not give his children birthday or Christmas presents. There's something cruel, calculating and selfish about a person like that.

Frank Luntz said that suddenly this is personal. People who are supporting Sarah Palin, especially women, are taking this whole attack very, very personally. I know I am. There is a bottom line here. I swear it is almost some sort of collusion between the Democrats and the MSM. They're teaching the Palins a lesson - making them an example for others to take note of. If you decided to go into national politics and rock the boat, be prepared to have your ruined. My father has always said why would any decent person in their right mind want to go into politics and put up with all the nasty things they must endure. I've always countered back that if good people don't go into politics this will continue. I fear he may end up being proved right.

Once decent people are pushed out of the political scene, only the Barack Obamas of the world will be in elected office. And you wonder why I have a migraine.

My head still hurts - and I'm not going to put up with this you know what. I'm mad. Want to talk gender politics? Want to talk gender bias?

It is entirely possible Barack Obama and his compatriots have fired the first salvos in a new gender war. As a woman I'm mad. I've put up with this you know what most of my adult life. The world doesn't want strong women. In the blogging world, I've put up with this stuff for ages. I don't like Michelle Malkin for some things, but I gotta hand it to her for pushing herself into the top level of the blog world, and staying there. I was talking to a friend the other day, telling her about something that has happened with me lately, she agrees that it is basically gender bias. The little wimpy insecure men of the world don't like strong women. Trust me. I've been there and am doing that.

Yea, I think maybe John McCain, bless him, has ignited a gender war. It takes a strong man to allow a strong woman to have her say. It takes a man who is very sure of himself to allow a woman to be strong. In other words, Barack Obama is a wimp!
