The Pink Flamingo :: Where in the World Is Michelle Obama?

There have been rumors about the Obama marriage being on the rocks for ages. A few weeks ago the National Enquirer broke a story that the couple had split over him having an affair with some blond German. If Barack Obama were John McCain, these rumors would be all over the MSM. That's all we would be hearing. But, because he is THE ONE, even the National Enquirer article was hushed up, as not to disturb his campaign.

Frankly, I don't care what he's doing. If he is trying to be more Kennedyesque, he's probably sleeping with every female who will put up with him. I am beginning to feel sorry for Michelle Obama who appears to have been relegated to 2nd class status. I'm not sure if that is because they are fighting, he's having an affair, they've split, or he simply doesn't like women. My honest theory is it may be a little of each.

I know it's not "kosher" to bring all of this up, but what kind of a POTUS would Barack Obama be if he can't treat his wife decently? I know we would be treated to 24/7 denigration of John McCain and an expose of each and every thing he has done wrong. Why can't we delive into Obama's past?

While writing this I thought of something. When the NYTimes splashed false rumors of a McCain affair all over their front page, every GOP blogger in the country rebelled. Why aren't we hearing Dem bloggers complaining that Obama is being lied about? I think there are two reasons. First, no one's really talking about it. Second, fooling around with another woman is a badge of honor for a Democrat!

Why aren't Democrats defending his honor?

Unless she is out 'saving the world' with her amazing 'good deeds' Cindy McCain is not far from her husband's side. The "First Dude" of Alaska is right there with his wife. No one can really find Joe Biden to check on the spouse, but then there is the Obamas. If MSNBC is wondering "Where's Michelle" then something is truly amiss here.

Do you remember the popular books, Where's Waldo? You would search something like a maze of people for "Waldo". (Over at The Confluence, they're asking the same thing about Joe Biden). It's getting to be that way when it comes to Michelle Obama. Over the weekend some very juicy gossip surfaced about The One having an affair with some German blond. More interesting was the fact that a few days before that little outing, a friend mentioned that there were ages old stories about the fun and games at the Obama Mansion (as big as 7 houses). Evidently there are some stories about the fights over Michelle and the fact that she suspected her hubby of womanizing. Try searching the web for these stories now and they have been scrubbed clean. The One is pure and must not be violated.

Or, because of her open and honest remarks about what she really believes, has Barack thrown Michelle under the bus with Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, and a cast of dozens?

Let's try tracking Michelle Obama.

My big question, was she at the Big Hollywood Bash last night?

We know she has made the "best dressed" list - which is joke when one realizes Cindy McCain is not on it.
Sept 3 - Hollywood fundraiser - without hubby. While there she insinuated that she did not think Sarah Palin was very bright. There were stories that Michelle was home with the girls who are now in school, but around the 6th of Sept she tapped Ellen's show with the girls. On the 10th she was in Indiana.

I think her absence was very noticeablee on September 11 when The One joined the McCains at Ground Zero. She was off giving a speech in Iowa (I think it was Iowa). Why wasn't she with her husband at that time? That was a very important moment - spouses mandatory. Michelle Obama was no where to be seen. Why? The "Official" word from The One's campaign is that they did not know spouses were going to attend and Cindy McCain butted in at the last minute. That's a little strange, don't you think?

We've learned she has her own staff (which all potential First Ladies have) near Bidens. Instead of being headquartered in the Nation's Capital where all campaigns are traditionally headquartered it is in a highrise in Chicago.

Today she was in Richmond. She made two appearances in Virginia. I'm getting the impression that she was not in Hollywood last night for the Big Barbara Bash. Frankly, if I were the wife of a candidate who was All That and Then Some, I'd be right there. But she isn't. It is as if the two of them were separated. Even the Clintons went out together.

She is due to speak in Greensboro on Thursday. Evidently they can't get rid of all the tickets. She does the Paula Dean show on Saturday. She taped the show last week. Then I found the information that she will be doing a voter registration drive in Greensboro on the morrow. This seems to be the case with her. She was in ABQ (last week?) doing the same thing. Is this what she's been relegated to - voter registration drives?

All of this goes to the question about Barack Obama and women. If he diminishes his wife this way, what does it say about how he views women? Or, as the allegations continue to mount, is Barack Obama having an affair? I don't see how any marriage can handle the strain of a campaign like this. Is the Obama marriage failing? Has Barack Obama beginning to believe tha he is The One? Or are we just looking at a couple with a flawed marriage? None of this is really any of our business except for the fact that Barack Obama is running for President of the United States of America. He is running as perfection. If his marriage is on the rocks, that's his business. If it is, then his little minions need to leave the Palins alone. The Obamas need to come out and tell the truth about what is going on with their lives.
