For the TT readers who might see this, Rumsfeld is fine, fully recovered until he decides to go back on his "billy-goat" diet again!
You may have noticed that The Pink Flamingo has been a little neglected these past couple of days. I've been working on the Word Press version, working until about 2AM this morning. I think I have a format I like - maybe.

JUST BAD BUSINESSThis evening I had a nice talk with a friend who is a good Republican and in the insurance business. Naturally the topic eventually landed on AIG. My friend was telling me that AIG as an "entity" deserves everything it gets. Evidently they make it a practice to undercut the other companies to the point where the reason they've gone under is because their prices are so low. From what I was told, their business practices included under-cutting the "other guy" no matter what, legal or not. Their ethics are not quite up to "snuff". My friend ... more »

MARRIAGE ON THE ROCKS?
There have been rumors about the Obama marriage being on the rocks for ages. A few weeks ago the National Enquirer broke a story that the couple had split over him having an affair with some blond German. If Barack Obama were John McCain, these rumors would be all over the MSM. That's all we would be hearing. But, because he is THE ONE, even the National Enquirer article was hushed up, as not to disturb his campaign.
