Obnoxious 9/11 Truther Alex Jones got the best of Michelle Malkin. He is a loud, vile individual, who reminds me of a cur dog who needs to have its barker removed. This said, Mz Malkin, in search of a headline and a story, became the story, her little self when Jones and his tawdry bunch of associates recognized her. As much as I dislike Michelle Malkin and thing that some of Jones’ accusations had a ring of truth about them, no one, needs to be treated the way she was.

On the other hand, no one in their right mind would willingly walk into a mob of brain-dead rabble roused by the likes of Alex Jones. There are places no one in their right mind, even with Secret Service like security would even think about going, I don’t care who they are. It’s like covering a shuttle launch. You sign a little slip of paper when you pick up your press credentials. If the launch vehicle explodes anywhere near the pad, you’re dead. Just hope and pray the camera survives and you get the byline for the photos. (I’ve been there at a launch where we were nano-seconds away from just such a fate. I think it was 41-D). You take your chances. If it blows, so be it.

Same thing here. Malkin knew what she was getting into when Jones verbally accosted her. She’s a big girl. She knew what she was doing. She’s lucky no one was hurt. The mob she was approaching doesn’t care if they harm anyone, but then I think she’s well enough informed to know that.

Oh, poor Michelle. She was so scared. (I would be too - but then I would not have put myself in that situation. Those people are crazy. You don't know what they will try).

Michelle Malkin knew exactly what she was doing. She was a reporter in search of a story, and became part of the story. It happens every day. To see the conservative consternation and crocodile tears is heart-warming, at best. The Anchoress has it right, and I agree. Now you know why I stay home. Now you know why I’m not going to the RNC in Minneapolis. Reporting the news is not a safe job. It never has been and if you’re good at it, it never will be.

The beautiful irony here is the anarchists were attacking their greatest conservative ally. Michelle Malkin detests John McCain. She will go to any length to denigrate he and his associates. No fact is too small, no attack to petty. If John McCain is doing something, it must be wrong.

Case in point is his endorsement by the Hispanic musical artist Daddy Yankee. Malkin calls it pandering. I call it a smart political move. But, like I said, nothing John McCain can do is good enough for her. The enemy of your enemy is your friend! Both Malkin and this Alex Jones are out to make sure John McCain is defeated.

I find her slam of Daddy Yankee a bit humorous. There are a few comments about the musician being an associate of P Daddy (whoever that is) and he is against hard line immigration reform. When one considers Michelle Malkin's dubious connections, her criticism of John McCain falls flat, but does help the anti-McCain pro-Obama crowd.

Don’t ever think the conservative blog-sphere isn’t going to milk this for all it’s worth. I know, it sounds ugly and a bit you know whatichy, but it’s true.

A word of advise: I lived with a stalker for at least 5 years. You learn where to go, when, and how to get there. You learn how to watch a crowd. You learn how to fire a shot gun. But – you learn how to be smart about security. Are you going to try telling me the very bright mother of a couple of little kids doesn’t know this?
