Thirteen Reasons Why I Should Not Keep the Kitten

1.    No room in the litterbox
2.    Rumsfeld doesn’t like him/her.
3.    The price of Meow-Mix keeps going up
4.    Costs money to spay/neuter & de-claw
5.    May die on me
6.    Price of cat litter keeps going up
7.    I need a hole in the head
8.    Looks like the late, great Misty
9.    Might not have long hair
10. I gave the other two away, why keep this one?
11.  It doesn’t like me
12.  I have 5 others (I think)
13.  What happens if I ever  Rumsfeld develops an allergy to cats



Thirteen Reasons I Should Keep the Kitten
1.    It’s Cute!
2.    Bubbles likes playing with it
3.    It needs love
4.    Have already named it (Hoss Cartwright)
5.    Doesn’t take up much room
6.    Might not live long, needs a happy life
7.    Snuggles nicely
8.    Doesn’t eat much
9.    Little Joe Cartwright’s not looking good
10.  Don’t have a red kitten
11.  Still nursing, birth control for Mommy Cat
12.  I had to get rid of the other two
13.  We’ve bonded


Last night little Hoss Cartwright had the run of the condo, officially leaving the nursery.  She “hung” with the big guys and had a good time.  This morning she was upstairs in the living room, bopping around like a toddler thinking she is hot stuff.
