Rumsfeld's Bad Day, Mega-Churches, & Tombstone Vigilettes

SUNDAY, AUGUST 10

I am working on a book about fashion in the era of the Wild West, tracking costume through photographs from the beginning of photography until 1910 when Hollywood took over. What started me on my quest was my desire to prove the good women of the Tombstone Vigilettes wrong. Bonnie Darlington is one of them. Boy was I wrong! This group is very much "up" on fashion of the Wild West down to the smallest detail. FYI, Bonnie is the town florist there in Tombstone and does a fantastic job!

The Strong Women of Obama's Life

DEMOCRATS AND THEIR MOTHERS

Today in the Star Bulletin there is this fawning, gushing coverage of Barack Obama "coming home". He "wowed" them at Oahu. And, then there are the strong women of his life. It is quite obvious he was raised by a strong grandmother, a Marxist mother who had the morals Mommy Cat. (It's Sunday so I'm sermonizing). It is also rather obvious he had a grandfather who treated his grandmother like dirt.

Deporting Illegals or Importing Islamic Holidays?

HAVING IT BOTH WAYS?

Are anti-immigration hard-liners even self-aware? Do they realize what a mockery they are making of the Constitution and Bill of Rights let alone themselves? So they want all the illegals who are doing “jobs no one wants to do” deported. Allegedly there are no jobs American’s don’t want to do, ergo we don't need immigrants, legal or illegal. Conservatives cheered when the evil illegal Hispanic immigrants were rounded-up like cattle and treated to sub-human and completely unconstitutional activities. After all, they are evil Hispanics. Right.
