We could be in for a bumpy ride. Larry Sinclair has provided his phone records - and strangely enough, they point Sinclair, not Barack Obama, telling the truth. From Obama Who?

"...“A newly released CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll found that if Obama does not select Clinton as his running mate, 22 percent of her supporters would stay home this fall (almost 4 million voters) — and another 17 percent (a little over 3 million) would vote for McCain.” –CNN (parentheses are mine). So, if we use 2004 as the baseline - GWB won with 62 million voters vs Kerry’s 59 million. then take away 4 million Democratic votes, that leaves BHO with 55 million. Now take away another 3 million from that (Clinton supporters who will not stay home but will vote for McCain) and add 3 million to the Republican side. You end up with 65 million for McCain End results, a landslide for McCain. ..."

SELECTIVE SERVICE?
No Quarter has more fun and games with Barack Obama. Where are his Selective Service records? No Quarter hasn't let up on the whole birth certificate scam either. Where are Barack Obama's records and why hasn't he produced them. Every other person must produce a birth certificate for various things in life. Being born in Hawaii is very convenient. The state has some of the most draconian privacy laws around. Consequently, we have no birth certificate. Why isn't Obama producing one? Then there is the selective service record. Where the heck is it and why didn't Barack Obama register? Perhaps we are looking in the wrong place - or maybe we aren't. Maybe he never registered. That's a felony isn't it?

THE OBAMA HOME FRONT?
Now, what about that Obama mortgage?

'...The Obamas got their mortgage from Northern Trust. By curious coincidence, one of Michelle's old friends joined that bank and is now in a particularly important position when it comes to information about the mortgage. Kelly King Dibble has a long time friendship with Michelle Obama from the time they both worked at the Chicago Planning Dept, and she also worked for Rezko. Dibble went on to head the Illinois Housing Development Authority under Governor Blagojevich, with Rezko help. Dibble also hosted a fund raiser for Obama. More on Dibble here. Dibble also was mentioned during the Rezko trial by Ali Ata. Dibble was a regular visitor to Rezko's office while heading the IHDA (which is based in Chicago). She also crossed Rezko when she refused to hire a Rezko relative. Dibble later resigned from the IHDA in Jan 2007 to take a job with Northern Trust, and is now Senior Vice President Public Affairs. So if Northern Trust is asked about the loan, Dibble will be in charge of framing the answers. I have often wondered what role Dibble might have played in Obama's house deal, since she was chummy with Michelle and Michelle was probably doing most of the house search. Did Dibble tell Rezko about the Obamas' housing search? Was she also involved with the Northern Trust deal? (Although she still headed the IHDA at the time, she might have had contacts at Northern Trust to get such a plum job there later).

The media have focused on the Obama-Rezko connection, but I wonder how much Michelle was involved? She seems to have run the household, is a Harvard-trained lawyer, and she is no shrinking violet. Her father was a Democrat precinct captain so she is no stranger to the ways of Chicago politics...."

OBAMA'S PATRIOTISM
AJ Strata shreds Barack Obama's patriotism. It is a thing of beauty.

"...Senator Obama, if you want to see the modern version of this get your butt to Iraq. For the last year Iraqi, US and Coalition forces have been battling the tyranny of Islamo Fascism. The Muslim Iraqis, once in league with the butchers of al-Qaeda, decided to take a chance and risk horrible retribution. And they too did not do this on behalf of a tribe or lineage, but on the larger idea that a democratic Iraq would be a better, less violent, less oppressive future than one run by Bin Laden’s thugs. And Iraqis paid for that choice by the thousands, at the hands of those same al-Qaeda thugs...."

So Obama has a temper tantrum. We all know no matter how Obama protests, the attacks of Clark and Webb are orchestrated. Jonah Goldberg has a snicker piece today in USA about Obama and his patriotism.

"...Liberals might giggle at what to them sounds like paranoia. But if you aren't already entranced by Obama, Obamania can seem not only vaguely anti-American but also downright otherworldly. Star Wars creator George Lucas recently proclaimed that it's "reasonably obvious" Obama is a Jedi Knight. Mark Morford, a particularly loopy San Francisco Chronicle columnist, says Obama isn't really "one of us." Rather, he's a "Lightworker," the sort of being who can help us find "a new way of being on the planet." Self-help guru Deepak Chopra insists that an Obama victory would bring about "a quantum leap in American consciousness." Even NBC's Chris Matthews has been entranced by Obama's Jedi mind tricks. Obamania, he says, is "bigger than Kennedy. … This is the New Testament."..."

TO TELL THE TRUTH

So far, no one with the McCain Campaign has smeared Barack Obama. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

"...If you didn't think this was a coordinated attack on John McCain's credentials before, it's clear now that it is. Barack Obama's surrogates are telling the McCain campaign to "calm down" about attacks on his military record? Seriously? Now somehow Wes Clark's attacks are John McCain's fault? It's absurd. If Barack Obama can't control his own surrogate operation, how can he be trusted to run the country?..."

"...here have been only two incidents in which people officially associated with McCain have done anything approaching what Thomas and Wolfe predicted those dastardly, conniving Republicans would inevitably do. In February, a conservative talk radio host speaking at a McCain rally made reference to “Barack Hussein Obama.” McCain immediately condemned the statement, leading the embittered and embarrassed professional yacker to complain that McCain “threw me under the bus.” The only other smear-worthy episode occurred in March, when the McCain campaign suspended a low-level aide who provided a link on his Twitter account to a video featuring the rants of Obama's former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Heavy stuff, to be sure.

Contrast the absence of smears from the McCain camp with some of the outlandish remarks made by high-ranking Obama supporters. In April, West Virginia Sen. John D. Rockefeller IV said that because McCain “was a fighter pilot, who dropped laser-guided missiles from 35,000 feet,” and “was long gone when they hit,” the Arizona senator who spent five and a half years in a Vietcong tiger cage having his arms repeatedly broken didn’t really understand the carnage of war. “What happened when [the missiles] get to the ground?” Rockefeller asked a crowd at an Obama rally. “He doesn’t know. You have to care about the lives of people. McCain never gets into those issues.” That the great-grandson of John D. Rockefeller would impugn the wartime experience of John McCain is especially rich, given that the only “battle” Rockefeller has seen is when he hunts wild game at his 80-acre ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyo.

Rockefeller’s smear was the first salvo in a pattern of attacks meant to insinuate that McCain’s Vietnam experience not only shouldn’t count as meaningful “experience,” but rendered him psychologically unfit for presidential office. In May, Iowa Democratic Sen. Tom Harkin said of McCain, “Everything is looked at from his life experiences, from always having been in the military, and I think that can be pretty dangerous.” Over the weekend, retired Army Gen. Wesley Clark said that McCain is “untested and untried,” and elaborated that, “I don't think getting in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to become president.” Clark, you may remember, ran for president in 2004 on his record as a career military officer, so his comment, which he has not retracted, was not just morally offensive but self-discrediting...."
