It Is Raining and the Skylight Is Now a Small Waterfall

FRIDAY, JUNE 27

The drip continues. I don't know if I should classify it as a fountain or a small waterfall. I've yet to hear from the person who is fixing it, and I'm leaving on Sunday AM.

BTW - please keep my cousin Jim in your prayers. He's having every miserable side effect of a bone marrow transplant anyone could have.

This evening I looked up to see Rumsfeld and Bubbles carrying in one of the sticks I use to hold up one of the plants. Evidently removing it was a joint operation of guilt and creativity. They came ... more »

The on FOX, we were treated to the same old litany from the Obama campaign. It was the same song, just a new verse. FOX appears to be in the tank for Barack Obama. If you will notice, FOX covers Obama's speeches with adoration, and cuts into McCains. When FOX does use a "real" Republican, they use Karl Rove. The rest of the time they resort to extreme conservatives like Bay Buchanan and Laura Ingraham, neither one of whom have any love for the GOP. Have you done any serious channel surfing on the movie channels lately? If you have a weak stomach like I do, it is enough to sicken you. Even during the day, when allegedly, things should be ‘child friendly’, it is nothing but carnage.
