The RNC has created a new site designed to for people who want to ask Barack Obama a question.  It is a great idea. There are a heck of a lot of questions I would like to ask, such as:  When did you last use illegal substances?  But I am behaving myself. The Dems have a problem here.  Barack Obama is not a good candidate.  Roger Simon has put it so succinctly – Obama is not the man for our times. I think this puts Barack Obama into perspective. Should a person who cannot take criticism be POTUS? Barack Obama has a serious problem in the fact that he cannot take nor accept criticism.  A person who is in any position of responsibility and power must be able to take criticism, or else they become a petty little tin-plated despot.

This is another of my sit back and see what develops collection of links.  Some of them are up to a week old, but I've left them because they are so revealing.  You might also want to check the new links list I have on the bottom left column - The Matter of Obama.  I've linked to the better of the anti-Obama sites.  I've left the Larry Sinclair things alone for now.  To me it all goes back to the use of illegal substances.  Special thanks go to Pink Flamingo reader and now (occasional) poster Sally Vee for coming up with some of the most interesting and sometimes off-beat things about Obama.  I thought I was half-way decent at snooping out the occasional interesting item, but she's good!

I don't think I've touched on much of the post-NC and IN primaries.  What's to say?  I find fascinating that Obama is still operating below the radar this week, aside from the fact that there is this constant under-tone of almost bullying for Hillary to pull out of the race.  Let's face it, I have a feeling she is waiting for all this mud to stick on Obama.  The problem is the twit could be non-stick.  He cannot keep up this charmed existence for much longer, in my opinion.  You can only fool people for so long. He has now begun this tactic on John McCain.

Perspective:  I like the perspective having a reference point to things written a week ago or so and compare them with what is going on now.  Funny, with the exception of Obama's little statehood project, and the constant refrain for Hillary to pull out,

Last week we were treated to a constant barrage, from the usual Obama source, derailing GWB for that wonderful Mission Accomplished moment the Dems love to hate.    Flopping Aces  Let’s be honest here.  Are we starting to smell the silent reek of desperation perspiration? Outside the Beltway has some crunched numbers.  Very Interesting.    Then AJ Strata wants to know of the good reverend is out to cream Obama – with yet more crunched numbers.   So does Flap. The Jawa put it so well:  58% say Obama is full of dodo!  Killing babies:  Obama’s all for it!

THE BIG MAC ATTACK DE JOUR
Real World Libertarian has the best run-down I’ve seen on what actually happened yesterday when John McCain was attacked by “Marty Parrish” at a meeting in Iowa.  The expelled liberal in question is an operative for Joe Biden.  Evidently there is a Huffington Post connection here, also. Face it, the HP is doing overtime to take out John McCain.  The best one yet is that he did not vote for GWB in 2000.

OBAMA’S MATURITY PROBLEM
Savage Politics on the Truth V. Barack Obama.
Commentary Magazine has an interesting take on things.
What has happened to Obama’s famous friends? They are still below the radar, a week after this piece was published.  I think Tom Hanks came out with an endorsement piece, but I'm not seeing much action.

“…Barack Obama was bleeding by Monday and needed cover. Where, when he could have used them, were Obama's oh-so-famous endorsers: Jesse Jackson, Ted Kennedy, Oprah, John Kerry, Chris Dodd, Patrick Leahy, Tom Daschle, Amy Klobuchar, Claire McCaskill, Jay Rockefeller, John Lewis, Toni Morrison, Roger Wilkins, Eric Holder, Robert Reich, Ted Sorenson, Alice Walker, David Wilhelm, Cornel West, Clifford Alexander, Donald McHenry, Patricia Wald, Newton Minow?
Where were all the big-city mayors who went over to the Obama camp: Chicago's Richard Daley, Cleveland's Frank Jackson, Atlanta's Shirley Franklin, Washington's Adrian Fenty, Newark's Cory Booker, Baltimore's Sheila Dixon?

It isn't hard for big names to get on talk TV to make a point. Any major op-ed page would have stopped the presses to print a statement of support from Ted Kennedy or such for the senator. None appeared. Call it profiles in gopher-holing. Blogs and Web sites are overflowing with how this meltdown is largely of Barack Obama's own making. What difference does that make? He is not running for class president; he's running for the presidency of the United States. Even at the crudest level of political calculation and cowardice, there's a point in a presidential race when a candidate's supporters are all in. We passed that point weeks ago. It's him or her. Analysts and historians will spend years sorting through the lessons of this most bizarre of all presidential campaigns. The Obama desertion points in a few directions. The nature of modern media coverage and the length of the campaign (two years!) has made these presidential candidates truly larger than life; indeed, they've become almost cartoon-like. Their personas dwarf and overwhelm the parties to which they nominally belong. As entities, the parties continue to recede. The Democratic superdelegates, created to represent the party's interests, look like deer frozen in the headlights of the two candidates' roaring tractor trailers.

As for the supersized candidates, what strikes one most about them is their "aloneness." They look so solitary. Indeed, it is possible that the old and honorable notion of "standing with" a candidate like Obama simply didn't occur to his famous supporters this week. Everyone has become used to watching celebrity stars and athletes take it in the neck on their own. Even someone running for the nation's presidency looks like just another personal crack-up….”

OBAMA’S LIES
How does this man keep getting away with it.  Fausta calls the little twit down for his latest lies about John McCain.   This morning Howard Dean was called out about it by Chris Wallace, but only Fox is going to hold these blasted prevaricators from canard-land to something resembling veracity. Flopping Aces has the whole grisly story.  Do you call fake a lie?  His fundraising tactics have terrifying implications for the future. Or is it just plain corruption?  He’s now dealing with the Teamsters for their votes. Is this a lie or just plain stupid?

BUYER’S REMORSE
The Rezko Watch thinks all of this is leading to a case of buyer’s remorse.  I’m of two minds here.  I am pulling for Ann Coulter’s girl Hillary in this race simply because I think Obama and his people have treated her like dirt.  There is a difference between the healthy give and take of the hard-fought political contest where the knives come out.  After all, it’s politics.  All’s fair – but this – I wonder.  This whole buyer’s remorse syndrome could be fun.  I just hope it doesn’t take hold until October.  Then there’s Barack Obama’s alleged temper.  Please, oh please, pretty please, - lose it in October during the debates!

Why did the Recko defense rest without calling a witness?

Obama has something like 143 days of experience in the Senate!
“…From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working. After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan. 143 days -- I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that.

In contrast, John McCain's 26 years in Congress, 22 years of military service including 1,966 days in captivity as a POW in Hanoi now seem more impressive than ever. At 71, John McCain may just be hitting his stride….

THE HAMAS SEAL OF APPROVAL
Blue Crab Blvd. has some interesting insights on the Barack Obama “endorsement” of Hamas.  Evidently someone in his campaign had connections to them.  No wonder he basically called John McCain a senile old man.  Let’s deflect the criticism a little.  Gateway reports that Obama has relieved said associate from said job.  Rezko Watch has more – a lot more. Atlas Shrugs has an excellent summery of the situation.
