It rained, hard, all afternoon –off and on.  The best indicator is a dip in the drive where a large puddle always forms.  If the one next to the museum is over halfway across the driveway, we’ve had a good rain.  When the smaller puddle on the other side meets – wonderful!  We had lightening and thunder.  Every time there is a clap of thunder Rumsfeld runs around the condo and yaps.  After a couple of circuits he settles down, then there’s another clap, and we’re off again, over and over as long as the storm ...   more »

Once upon a time, (okay it was about 870 days or so ago) in a galaxy far, far away, Barack Obama visited Iraq.  He was there for two days.  He saw nothing that made him change his opinion that the US needed to pull out of Iraq.    The day after he left President Bush announced the “serge”.  Who would’a guessed?

Thirteen Reasons Why Today's List Is So Bad...

1.  I'm still dealing with the after-effects of 3 weeks of the flu, and not having a full night's sleep in 6 weeks.  I fell asleep around 3AM this morning and slept until noon!  Wow! Sleep!
