The kitten was doing quite well. Her adoptive parents went out for lunch and found her. She had died in the litter box, trying to get out. It was quite sad. She was adapting. Her diarrhea was starting to solidify. She was eating.
The odd thing is ALL of my carport kitties have disappeared. I’m furious. I’m afraid something has happened to them. I just noticed that most of the Meow Mix has been eaten. Maybe Kay is right, there’s so much activity here, they are just scared.

I'm sitting here watching the downlink coming in - successfully! The solar array has deployed. The photos are excellent. It looks like one of the to come in are landscapes. We can now view a part of Mars we've never yet seen! So far the rocks are showing ice action. Cool. Phoenix landed with something like only a quarter degree off verticle. Evidently everything looks to have deployed (so far) properly.

"...I'm glad I'm here though it's not easy. I'm amazed how many people have volunteered to serve in Iraq. There's one guy who retired as a colonel in the National Guard. He wanted to go with his son in his old unit. The NG allowed him to deploy with him but as a Sergeant. He agreed. Well please enjoy your weekend.
