BELIEVING IN MIRACLES
My friend Deb send an email to me yesterday, with a message for my friend Chris and her family. It is so beautiful I want to share it with you.A little background. My friend is a living testament to Christ's love and the fact that HE IS in the miracle business. She shouldn't even be alive, let alone walking. Maybe 13 or so years ago Deb, a letter carrier, was on the job, going through the big intersection in Seneca, SC between Highway 59 and the 123 Bypass. Someone ran the light, hitting her dead to rights in the driver's side. I received a call to pray while they were extracting her nearly lifeless body from the car. They told us she probably wouldn't make it to the trauma center in Greenville. Then she probably wouldn't make it through the very long and extensive surgery that was needed, just to keep her alive. She probably wouldn't make it through the next few days. There was more emergency surgery. She would probably stay in a coma. Then she was never to walk again.
Yes, you guessed it, she walks very well.
I think I sent her a card every day she was in the hospital - for months. We would talk on the phone. I'm not one for hospital visits. I watched a woman, newly married, and her new hubby grow from people who believed, into very strong take it on the chin, the Lord is going to get us through this Christians.
Deb has grown into a prayer warrior. She is one of the first people I contact when I need prayer.
The Lord is good.
God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. My friend Deb is a breathing, walking testament to this.
DEB'S MESSAGE
"I want to encourage your friends to hold on, stand in Faith, & believe ! I am a walking miracle - because He lives, I live. Jesus has manifested His Glory in my life over & over , so miraculous, I can not deny the Truth that He is THE GREAT I AM , Faithful & True. A personal encounter with Christ brings instant Peace & so wonderful it is hard to put into words-Light & Love. He is preparing a place for us to be with Him. He is pouring out His Spirit & Glory across the nations, get ready for a revival to break out ! He promised to do this in the latter days in His Word.
Joel 2 & Acts 2:17 "And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh: Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams, And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, And they shall prophesy, I will show wonders in Heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke, The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood. Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that WHOEVER calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.
Very definitive language I shall, Will Be, That I will, I will.... He has spoken it, He will accomplice it.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them ALL ! Psalm 34:19.
Please speak Peace to their hearts & the Word of God as He leads. Please remind them God Loves them right now & just as they are, where they are. I find when I'm fearful I sing Jesus Loves Me... Simple but true and the answer is YES I DO LOVE YOU ! Thank-you Jesus !
