The Pink Flamingo :: Today’s Strange Incident

Something has happened today and I’m not quite sure how to handle it. Evidently I’ve stepped on a few toes with what I’ve said about conservatives these past few days. If you will notice the right column of the Pink Flamingo you will notice it is much “thinner”. I’ve been kicked off a few blog-rolls this morning. It has hurt my feelings. I guess I thought it was acceptable to tell the truth. It makes me feel bad because I’ve always held this specific individual up as an example of what an honorable independent conservative is. I still do. I guess I just wish conservatives were more tolerant of freedom of speech and other views of what conservative is. Maybe I’ve proved my point. The bottom line is if I’ve offended you, I am sorry. I’m not going to stop what I am doing. The Republican Party is being harmed by certain conservative forces. (The person above was NOT one of them). I am going to fight for it. I hope you will to.

While I do not want to offend the normal person of the world, I don't mind admitting there are a few conservative forces I don't mind offending. The individual who is angry with me is not one of those people. I don't like liars. I don't like people who mis-represent themselves. This is the problem facing the GOP right now. We are dealing with some very nasty individuals. We hear "As Tarnished As the GOP Brand Is" - these are the people who have tarnished it.

I have been called down by conservative sources for my ongoing vendetta against those sources that are out to do harm to the GOP. I want to stress I am not against anyone who outwardly proclaims that they are an independent conservative or anyone who is a member of a third party. I am after those who are not Republican but claim to be so in order to manipulate the agenda.
