A VERY VERY VERY OLD CANDIDATE
I stole this from Outside the Beltway. 
The thing about the cat is interesting. 

Speaking of which, my mother called me late last night.  A friend, who was visiting yesterday evening told her that she can keep the skunks off the porch and from eating the cat food by playing loud music.  She turned on some classical music, very loud, and the skunks literally ran off the porch! They did not return as long as the music was playing.

It's nice to support someone who has a sense of humor, is very very very old, and doesn't like to spent the taxpayer's money.
