SUNDAY, MAY 11 I want to set the record straight on a few things. First, I am conservative. I am not “A Conservative”. I am conservative. My conservative values have NEVER changed – except for my views on capital punishment. I was for it, but then when I really began thinking about the pro-life implications, I cannot support it. I do not believe in taking a person’s life – no matter who. My only exception is for treason and then just shoot ‘em where they stand. I’ve been told (years ago) by someone who worked with him, that there are problems, and will elaborate no further.
