MONDAY, APRIL 7
So far 3 subdivision have been evacuated between the Inn of the Mountain Gods and heading back into town. It looks like they were able to hit it quickly and everyone seems to be heading back home. The one near Capitan hit 10,000 acres today (already yet)

NO CONSERVATIVE DEFENSE, EITHER!
I’ve been sitting on this since about mid-afternoon – a good 4 hours, waiting to see if any CONSERVTIVE blogger would come to John McCain’s rescue. So far, only two, mentioned below have behaved with honor. So far, not Malkin, Hot Air, Pajamas Media, Instapundit, Red State – not one other blog: ZIP NADA ZILCH. No one. So far Drudge has not chosen to run with it. Considering how he dislikes McCain, it won’t be long. There is nothing. OR AM I JUST BIASED?
Are Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama simply more of the same or am I so biased against the Dems I can’t see the logical truth? From my biased, uber-GOP version of the world, I don’t mind admitting I am biased, but it sure looks to me like we have been dealing with some seriously flawed individuals.
