I don’t think much of anything is going on today.  Leroy cut my hair.  We discussed he and Tom and his take on gay marriage.

They’ve been together nearly 32 years.  He said why bother with this whole idea of a marriage.  They keep their paperwork separate, own the house and 4 dogs together.  I’ve learned quite a bit from him the past couple of years.  He was telling me of a local lesbian ‘marriage’.  Said they broke up in a few months.  Like he said, he and Tom have basically been together since they were kids.  ...   more »

RICHARDSON STEPPED IN IT
Until his association with Barack Obama, Bill Richardson had a reputation for being self-deprecating and rather charming.  New Mexico is a mess, politically.  It is corrupt. It is dysfunctional.  And, you’ve probably noticed even though it has one of the smallest populations of any state, it is usually the last state to have their vote count certified.

THUMBING THE NOSE ON RACISM
