I don’t think much of anything is going on today. Leroy cut my hair. We discussed he and Tom and his take on gay marriage.

They’ve been together nearly 32 years. He said why bother with this whole idea of a marriage. They keep their paperwork separate, own the house and 4 dogs together. Until his association with Barack Obama, Bill Richardson had a reputation for being self-deprecating and rather charming. New Mexico is a mess, politically. It is corrupt. It is dysfunctional. And, you’ve probably noticed even though it has one of the smallest populations of any state, it is usually the last state to have their vote count certified.

There’s a simple reason.

If there was a rational discussion about racism in this country, what Hispanics are experiencing and what my sister’s neighbor Steve Cohen (extremely liberal) is going through I think the rabble roused by Barack Obama would be a half way decent thing. The problem, though, is he is re-defining racism into something that it is not. No longer is racism a terrible, disgusting thing, but the new definition is any criticism of Barack Obama.
