We’ve had worse days, but this one is in the top five since I’ve lived here.  This morning I was going to put it as the 3rd worst windy day, but I think I will put it at #5.  We are expecting a monster day tomorrow. Okay, I admit it.  I like cop shows.  Unfortunately, with the exception of the line-up on USA on Friday night, I really don't think there's a "traditional" cop show on network.  The 1980's were the best of times. Somewhere they did a list of the greatest cop shows ever.  Believe it or not, my favorite one was declared the very best cop show ever.  I've saved it for last.

Today, Dave at Oricus  links to a commentary at Fire Dog Lake  about a Peggy Noonan column.  I have long ago said the venerable Ms Noonan is not firing on all thrusters.  I think this time she has basically driven over a cliff.
