THE BEGINNING OF THE END?
Larry Johnson at No Quarter is heralding the End of Barack Obama. He thinks today’s debacle at the National Press Club is going to destroy Barack Obama’s chances. It isn’t going to help, that’s for sure. Johnson quotes a WPost piece:

“…Speaking before an audience that included Marion Barry, Cornel West, Malik Zulu Shabazz of the New Black Panther Party and Nation of Islam official Jamil Muhammad, Wright praised Louis Farrakhan, defended the view that Zionism is racism, accused the United States of terrorism, repeated his view that the government created the AIDS virus to cause the genocide of racial minorities, stood by other past remarks ("God damn America") and held himself out as a spokesman for the black church in America.
In front of 30 television cameras, Wright's audience cheered him on as the minister mocked the media and, at one point, did a little victory dance on the podium. It seemed as if Wright, jokingly offering himself as Obama's vice president, was actually trying to doom Obama; a member of the head table, American Urban Radio's April Ryan, confirmed that Wright's security was provided by bodyguards from Farrakhan's Nation of Islam….”

The Campaign Spot at NRO also thinks this is the end of Obama’s campaign. Let’s face it, I do not like Barack Obama. I think he is as plastic as any mall based, Southern California silicon enhanced blond. There is nothing to him. He is a fake – and there in lies the Great American Tragedy.

WRONG STUFF
Before I begin the obligatory commentary about Jeremiah Wright I have a few useful links. (LGF links to the full sermon) and Barack Obama, (PJ Media) (Hewitt has yet another sermon) I need to make one observation. It is now obvious they are part of the same congregation. I think it won’t be long before they are at one another’s throat. Death by 1000 Papercuts highlights the similarity between Jeremiah Wright and Fred Phelps. I agree, there’s no difference. Both are egotistical users who know how to manipulate their congregations and the media. The Obama campaign’s manipulation of “racism” and turning every slight into a racist attack is another example of the campaign’s narcissism.

We are so busy quaking every time Barack Obama plays the little boy crying wolf and screams racism, that we don't have the courage to deflect the accusations back toward their point of origin. Racism is a very nasty thing. Like the little boy who cried wolf, if it is used as a tool to manipulate public opinion and to take out an opponent (no matter who) racism is defined down. It no longer becomes a bad thing, but something to snicker at the opposition as they attempt to destroy someone.

What is even worse - only one group of people (evidently) in the United States - is portrayed as racist - anyone who happens to have blond hair, blue eyes, and white skin. Jeremiah Wright is attempting to turn white men into evil racists. In doing this, and his his diatribe, he is spouting completely discredited scholarship on race and how someone with African ancestors thinks different than someone with a European genetic base.

If I complain about John Tanton, the Social Contract Press, FAIR, Vdare, the KKK, and their little friends, then I must decry Wright's denigration of the races, both black and white.

They claim harassment and interference with both their work and funding. The Pioneer Fund, whose stated purpose is "to advance the scientific study of heredity and human differences", makes "no grants to individuals but only to research institutions, mainly universities, mostly for specialized 'niche' projects, which have difficulty attracting funds from government sources or from larger foundations".,,,"

If I complain about John Tanton and his abject racism, then I must do the same about Jeremiah Wright. They are identical twins, separated at birth. Racism is racism. Racists can come from all races and nationalities. It doesn't matter. The worst of it, for Barack Obama to continue soft-peddling Jeremiah Wright's racism is - well, it puts him in the same crack-pot league as Tom Tancredo (a anti-Hispanic, racist fool).

Is Jeremiah Wright a narcissist?
Narcissism is defined as:

Is Jeremiah Wright suffering from a Narcissistic Personality Disorder? I think he is. The criteria for diagnosis is the following:

requires excessive admiration
