Today is St. George’s Day (My Patron Saint)

Blog Critics has just published my piece about blogging John McCain.

Funny how the Lord works. Last year I realized that St. George was my patron saint through an interesting occurrence. I’ve always thought he was. My protector is the Blessed Virgin of Guadeloupe – FYI. Today Forward Day by Day highlights the verses I live by. After I read the passage, it is quite apparent that St. George is my Patron Saint. 1 Thessalonians 5:12-28. Verses 16-18 are the verses I live my life by:

NOTE: I was planning to a piece on the FLDS (I have some new information) but was side-tracked by this story. I think this is something that needs to be told. I know I am telling it one-sided, against the Minutemen in California. But what I have found is so repulsive and so vile it needs to be exposed to the light of day.
