The wind never seems to end.  We should have a break in a few days, when, allegedly, around the 1st of May, it will stop.  (Maybe)  Right now everyone is holding their breath with the wind and the fires. NM Fire information Right now things are bad.  There is a fire near Mountainair that could be quite bad.  Until the rains begin on the 4th of July, we all live in a state of unsettled calm.

Evidently it is perfectly acceptable for other Presidents and candidates to have tempers.  It is acceptable for anyone but John McCain.  Strange, isn’t it?  LBJ had one.  They say JFK’s was explosive.  Lincoln had one.  And George Washington’s temper was so bad he was known to punch out arguing officers, and had a mouth so foul he is secretary would shake in terror when he would was “poetic”, so what’s wrong with John McCain having one?  (Even Ronald Reagan had one).

OBAMA TO DISCUSS PUBLIC FINANCING
Last week I wrote that I think Barack Obama could be on the verge of having money problems.  I know the latest FEC reports show him way out ahead, but we need to remember the reports are dated to the end of March.  In April, sources report that he is spending something like 2.2 mil a day.  That’s a heck of a lot of money.  The man has milked his subjects for nearly $250 million.  I don’t see how he can continue at that pace.  Just how much money is out there – from small ...   more »
