They say confession is good for the soul, but I’m not Catholic, just a pathetic Episcopalian, so there’s no confession here! Maybe it’s more returning to the scene of the crime as we went back to Bisbee for another round of antique shops. I bought two beautiful turn of the century china bowls, then hit a rock shop where I found a magnificent calcite crystal specimen that included shards of pure copper. John Tanton has succeeded in getting one of his flunkies, Brian Bilbray, is now in charge of the House Immigration Reform Caucus. Is a shooting war on the horizon between Columbia and Venezuela & Ecuador? It seems to me we may not be paying enough attention to what is going on between the three countries. Is Chavez all bluster or is he serious? What would happen to the price of oil? I think after the recent seizure of that laptop we know that Chavez is up to his eyeballs with his terror contacts in South America. Does it involve actual terror or more likely money laundering and drugs? And how does Barack Obama fit into all of this?
