A Thursday Thirteen Salute to the Ultimate Man!
James Tiberius Kirk

Earlier in the week I decided we all needed to lighten up a bit and get a grip on reality.  In was in that vein, I began floating the possibility that Captain James T. Kirk would be the absolute perfect VP choice for John McCain. It is all in good clean fun.  And so, I am continuing my salute to the ultimate man by offering up Thirteen Reasons James T. Kirk is the Ultimate Man.

While I was working on it, I began to notice what a great piece of theater the original Star Trek actually was. You also realize how ground-breaking it was, far ahead of its time.  As I watched a few clips, I began to wonder if they would even be allowed to get away with some of the things they did back in the 1960's!  It was "science fiction" so no one cared!
