Serious Fire Threatens Historic Bisbee

THURSDAY, MARCH 20
SPRING HAS FINALLY SPRUNG

We now know why those dang blasted birds sing in the summer. I have a bird phobia. This evening when I was going in the side door of church the dang blasted bird who nests there every year tried to attack me. I swear she did. I started screaming. I went into the sacristy and apologized to Fr. Peter, our Interim. He confessed the same phobia. I started back into the church and the bird attempted to attack me again.

Today when I did my movie Thursday Thirteen I put in what I think is the most perfect clip in all of movie history. Judah Ben Hur (Charlton Heston at his most – sigh) has just been consigned to the galleys as a slave. It is Mesilla’s intention for his old friend to die of thirst along the trek. The problem is Mesilla’s best laid plans were ruined by a humble carpenter who was all about love.
