Antiquing in Bisbee & Visiting with a Hero or Two

SUNDAY, MARCH 2

After Lenten services at St. Pauls, we went to Bisbee to antique. If you are not familiar with Bisbee, Arizona, it is a rather picturesque enclave of abject liberals in the extremely conservative Cochise County. It is a Victorian mining town build on the side of a mountain, overlooking one of the great open copper pits. The two main streets are now lined with charming art galleries, antique stores, and unique little shops. I try to hit the shops at least once when I am in Tombstone.

agony: a state of acute pain
misery resulting from affliction
troubled by pain or loss;
distress: psychological suffering
feelings of mental or physical pain
miserable: very unhappy; full of misery

The Coming War in Columbia?

ALL THE LITTLE MARXISTS?

I’ve been out of touch these past two days, stuck with CNN, where Barack Obama is already POTUS, choosing his cabinet, ending global warming and cementing world peace. I have no earthly what he is going to do for an encore. Therefore the possibility of Hugh Chavez, the Barack Obama of Venezuela, (okay it’s a cheap shot) invading Columbia came as a complete surprise to me. I thought we were all to hold hands, sing Kum by yah and turn over everything we own and receive according to what Obama thinks we deserve.
