TANTON'S EMPIRE STRIKES BACK?

Earlier today I emailed a friend and told her we were going to see the anti-immigration “conservatives” pull something nasty.  Well, Mark Kirkorian has fired the first shot.
“…'A Third-Party Candidate for President May Be Essential for Limiting the Damage to Republicans in Congress.' Over in the Corner, Mark Kirkorian is talking about a third party candidate in a warm, fuzzy tone. He's thinking of a ticket that would attempt fusion between the Libertarian and Constitution parties…”

It's the anti-immigration supporters who are going to be the backbone of this "new" third party.  Watch to see what Tom Tancredo pulls and which way the wind blows Ron Paul  They may pull something with the Libertarians or in my way of thinking, probably the Constitution Party.  I have a feeling Tanton figures this is his big opportunity to strike.  These people hate John McCain.  He is their worst nightmare.

The Anchoress is warning of a potential third party attack.  I have a feeling this is one of them.  Please be aware that it has absolutely NOTHING to do with conservative, family values, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, or Rush Limbaugh.  It has NOTHING to do with the GOP.  It has everything to do with John Tanton and his anti-immigration, eugenics platform.  It has everything to do with driving the illegal Hispanics out of the US.  His eventual plan has everything to do with POPULATION CONTROL.  He wants only 93 million people here in the US.  These 93 million people must be genetically sound - EUGENICS.  Only people who fit the profile of The Pioneer Fund will be allowed to reproduce.

HOW WILL CONSERVATIVES REACT?

David Henninger’s WSJ piece:
“…There are murmurs of heading into the political wilderness. Sit this one out. Rather than sell the party's soul to John McCain, let Hillary have it, or Barack. Go into opposition for four years while the party gets its head together and comes up with an authentic conservative candidate. If this sourness takes hold at the margin, say among GOP anti-immigrant voters, it might happen. The wilderness is a good place to find yourself, if you're a prophet. There are reasons, though, why a principled political retreat won't make conservative prospects better. The point of a principled retreat would be to rediscover coherence amid doctrinal confusion. The exact opposite is likely to happen….”

“…"Constrain McCain"   [Mark Krikorian]
Stanley is on target in fearing the consequences of a McCain candidacy for the prospects of congressional Republicans in November. I'll certainly get out in November and vote for whichever hapless Republican tries to succeed Tom Davis, but realistically speaking, most people who, like me, can't bring themselves to vote for Amnesty John will just stay home. Unless ... they have someone else to vote for. A third-party candidate for president may be essential for limiting the damage to Republicans in Congress. For instance, the Libertarian and Constitution parties, which are on the ballot in almost all states, could agree on a joint anti-McCain ticket (with one person from each party) — yes, I'm sure they can't stand each other, but the question is whether they fear McCain more. Such a ticket could conceivably get 1 or 2 percent of the vote, and some of those voters would otherwise have stayed home, potentially spelling the difference between congressional Republicans getting creamed like 1974 and merely suffering small losses that could be reversed in Hillary's mid-term election, after she's made a hash of things. Would such a strategy cost McCain the election, by siphoning away people who'd otherwise hold their noses and vote for him? Two things — first, I want him to lose, and second, he's going to lose regardless. So congressional Republicans need to do whatever they can (and maybe that's not much) to save themselves from the deluge..”

Mark Kirkorian is part of the Center for Immigration Studies
Hatewatch Blog
“…Though CFAW portrays itself as a group that represents “the interests of American workers,” not one union participates in its “coalition.” Dinan did not report that, nor did he report that CFAW is, in fact, a front group for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), the largest anti-immigration organization and the recipient of more than $1 million in grants from the racist Pioneer Foundation. One of the members of CFAW’s coalition is the American Immigration Control Foundation (AICF), which is considered a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. AICF believes that immigrants have “sown the seeds of ethnic strife in America.”

CFAW’s coalition is incestuous, with several organizations that are founded, financed or led by a tiny handful of anti-immigrant activists. For example, John Tanton founded both FAIR and NumbersUSA. Roy Beck, who runs NumbersUSA and worked for many years for Tanton, heads several of CFAW’s other constituent groups. Dinan also cites Mark Krikorian of the Center for Immigration Studies, which was established under FAIR’s nonprofit tax umbrella and whose creation Tanton endorsed in 1986. Krikorian claims in Dinan’s article that immigrants and their children will potentially add 105 million new residents to the U.S. by 2060 — an outlandish number that would require nearly the entire population of Mexico to move to the US.

The connection to Tanton, who is the founder of America’s modern anti-immigration movement, is particularly problematic given his history of anti-Latino bigotry. Tanton has questioned whether Latinos can be educated to the level of other races and he endorses and publishes the racist novel Camp of the Saints. (For a description of the book’s racism, see here.)
FAIR has been creating false front groups for years, usually in an attempt to hide the predominantly white face of American’s anti-immigration movement. FAIR bankrolls Choose Black America, which supposedly represents African Americans who want to restrict immigration. In fact, the group is basically one man, Ted Hayes. FAIR also bankrolls You Don’t Speak for Me!, a supposedly Latino group that favors immigration restrictions. As in the case of Choose Black America, the group has only a handful of participants and its media contact, Ira Mehlman, works for FAIR….”

Mark Kirkorian  does show his true stripes about what he truly thought about Romney.  He’s also quoting Steve Sailer, which is extremely important.
“…Without immigration as a key issue, Romney would have been an asterisk in California. As Steve Sailer    has pointed out, illegal immigration was the most important issue for 29 percent of the state’s Republican primary voters (second only to the economy at 33 percent) and Romney clobbered McCain 45-25. (The Hispanic vote in California, meanwhile, was very divided, with McCain underperforming at only 35 percent, compared to his statewide total of 42 percent.) Immigration has certainly not been a “magic bullet” for any of the candidates. Opposition to amnesty couldn’t compensate, for instance, for Romney’s apparent phoniness, or for Thompson’s seeming lack of enthusiasm for campaigning. On the other hand, Huckabee’s adoption of a clear, detailed immigration-control platform has certainly helped compensate for his earlier pro-illegal immigrant comments…..”

Kirkorian, who is doing John Tanton's bidding here, is tied to the hip with Tanton and his FAIR, which has been proclaimed a "Hate Group" by the SPLC.
"...At the center of the Tanton web is the nonprofit Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), the most important organization fueling the backlash against immigration. Founded by Tanton in 1979, FAIR has long been marked by anti-Latino and anti-Catholic attitudes. It has mixed this bigotry with a fondness for eugenics, the idea of breeding better humans discredited by its Nazi associations. It has accepted $1.2 million from an infamous, racist eugenics foundation. It has employed officials in key positions who are also members of white supremacist groups. Recently, it has promoted racist conspiracy theories about Mexico's secret designs on the American Southwest and an alternative theory alleging secret plans to merge the United States, Mexico and Canada. Just last February, a senior FAIR official sought "advice" from the leaders of a racist Belgian political party...According to the CCC newsletter, FAIR's longtime associate director, Dave Ray, was scheduled to speak at another CCC event. And, in September 2002, FAIR Eastern Regional Coordinator Jim Stadenraus participated in an anti-immigration conference on Long Island, N.Y., with Jared Taylor. Taylor is both a CCC member and the founder of the racist eugenicist publication, American Renaissance.

FAIR has also produced programming featuring hate group leaders linked to the CCC. According to the anti-racist Center for New Community, FAIR's now defunct television production, "Borderline," featured interviews with Taylor and Sam Francis, who edited the CCC's newsletter until his death in 2005.

Donald Collins, a member of both FAIR's board of directors and its board of advisers, has his own ties to white supremacy. Collins posts frequently to a hate website called Vdare.com, which is named after Virginia Dare (said to be the first white child born in the New World) and publishes the work of white supremacists and anti-Semites. Collins also has been published in The Journal of Social, Political and Economic Studies, a periodical run by longtime academic racist Roger Pearson. (Pearson founded the Eugenics Society in 1963 and worked with at least one former SS officer in England. He is also the recipient of several Pioneer Fund grants.)..."

LOU DOBBS FOR PRESIDENT?
I think this is a set-up to promote Lou Dobbs. These people are disparate and will do anything to maintain their control.  The worst possible thing that could happen would be John McCain.  Be prepared for anything and everything to be thrown at him for the next 10 months.  It is going to be very nasty.

This is all a way to start a third party bid for Dobbs.  The big question is will the rather spoiled brats who are threatening to leave the GOP - little stinkers like Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, and the like, are threatening to go third party against John McCain join forces with the Tanton bunch?  What will the Washington Times do?  The Washington Times is the propaganda organ of Sun Myung Moon's Unification cult.  They are also deeply into the whole anti-immigration thing, and are very much against John McCain and fueling some of the hatred against them.
