Harold Hutchinson picked up on something from last night’s Dem debate. (acid indigestion, probably). He refers us to AJ Strata (as usual) who has an interesting analysis of one of Obama’s military statements. http://strata-sphere.com/blog/index.php/archives/5104 Strata then comes to the same conclusion I’ve reached. Obama is an idiot!

Have you noticed something I have about Barack Obama? He doesn’t have much of a sense of humor, cannot laugh at himself, and is terribly thin-skinned. He also must have the last word. Now I recognize three of these characteristics because I have them, save for the sense of humor (mine is hyperactive) an ability to laugh at myself. My editor has constantly threatened that if I do not develop a thick skin, I’m not going to make it, psychologically, as a writer. I wonder what that says about someone running for POTUS? I must also have the last word. With me it is pathological. I no longer must constantly defend myself, because I’ve developed the I don’t give a blank (word removed due to Lent).

I’ve learned MATURITY has helped me reach a point where I can laugh at my thin skin and at attacks. I am learning that I don’t need the last word. I am also discovering that I enjoy telling people the truth, what I think and doing what is right. I enjoy standing up for right and wrong no matter what the personal consequences, and am learning to take the hits. I am also learning that there are times when I don’t fight back to defend myself from verbal assaults.

I want a POTUS who has the ability to stand up for what is right and wrong, regardless of the personal consequences. I want someone who says what they think without resorting to rhetorical platitudes. I want a POTUS who has the maturity to know the difference. I think this effectively rules out Barack Obama for POTUS.

Barack Obama reminds me of the mythological rock star who starts believing his PR releases. The rock star becomes arrogant to the point where nothing else really matters. I don't care if a rock star has this failing, but I don't want the same thing in a future POTUS.

I think it’s time we recognize things for what they are. Thank heavens for Geraldo. This AM I was listening to something he said and it dawned one me that Barack Obama is simply Ron Paul clothed as a liberal! His followers are devoted fans who have passed “go” awhile back and are surrendered all logic and reason.

He has the capacity to raise money like Ron Paul.

Obama hung with radicals from the 1960’s. Ron Paul hangs with people who have some less than perfect backgrounds (i.e. KKK, Neo-Nazi, etc). What’s the difference? I don’t see any.
