THE PINK FLAMINGO RECOMMENDS
View Article  Light Posting - Big Changes On the Way!
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 5
I am putting the finishing touches on the Wordpress version of The Pink Flamingo!  Now is the perfect time to do this, so, I'm doing it.  I'm going to try for the big migration either this weekend or early during the next week.  I will probably do maybe one or two posts a day until the move.  It's getting there, though.  If you want to see the mess I've made of it.  It has taken ages for me to decide on a format.

MICHAEL CRICHTON
My family has a Celtic view of death.  It comes in threes.  Tony Hillerman died last week.  Michael Crichton lost his battle with cancer today.  In the next few weeks we will lose another great writer.

Michael Crichton just died.  I guess my mother can't go around insulting him now - long story.  It was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life.

After the opening of The Lost World, (we were in Memphis), my sister's family, her best friend's ex-family and my mother and I were standing around the lobby (very nice theater) discussing the ...   more »

DON'T BLAME MCCAIN

Don't blame John McCain for this (insert your chose of word) loss.  He was met by the most corrupt juggernaut in American history.  Defeat is not dishonorable when your opponent must lie, cheat, and steal in order to win. John McCain wasn't defeated by your normal candidate.  He was defeated by hate, betrayal, and dishonesty.

John McCain is a hero.  He is a patriot.  He has given his entire life to his country.  In the end he was betrayed by a silver tongued narcissist who has no grasp of the country he will begin to govern. I ...   more »
View Article  Will PETA Condemn Obama's Savage Kenyan Relatives
POSITIVELY REVOLTING BEHAVIOR

Barack Obama's Kenyan relatives are pulling out all the stops thinking their gods for The One's victory against American Hero, John McCain.  To celebrate Obama's remarkable rise above American racism and prejudice, they are slaughtering a whole barnyard of innocent animals.  The family celebrated the victory by sacrificing bulls, chickens and goats.  I wonder if PETA will say anything about this.

I don't know about you, but as an intolerant Christian, I find this appalling, disgusting, and absolutely vile.  I'm surprised someone somewhere in the primitive world of multi-culturalism did not want to sacrifice a virgin.  But, ...   more »
