The Pink Flamingo :: Obama, the War, & the Patriot Act

Conservative pundits and bloggers are starting to complain about the possibility that Barack Obama may tinker with the Patriot Act. They are terrified he may do so.

I don’t think they have stopped to think through their opposition to his putting an end or to watering it down to the point where it is impotent.

Do we really want someone like Barack Obama in charge of rounding up “terrorists” who may or may not actually be terrorists but just political opponents?

I am okay with the Patriot Act while George W. Bush is in charge, but I don’t want Barack Obama having anything to do with it.

I don’t trust him, and neither should you.

NOTE TO CONSERVATIVES: Don’t push this.

We don’t want Barack Obama holding all of the get out of jail – or into jail – free cards.
