The Pink Flamingo :: Obama, Anti-Semitism & the Economy

This weekend Sean Hannity uncovered a link between Barack Obama and Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour. Gateway Pundit has a clip from Hannity's special about Obama's associates.

For those idiots who do not know history, there is a known correlation between bad economic times and anti-Semitism. There area already indications that this type of obscenity has already begun. To make matters worse, there are additional indications that Barack Obama has associates who are extremely anti-Semitic and pro-Islamic. Getting back to our historical illiterates, let's do a quickie history of anti-Semitism.

"...Antisemitism (alternatively spelled anti-semitism or anti-Semitism; also rarely known as judeophobia) is the prejudice against or hostility toward Jews as a group. The prejudice or hostility is usually characterized by a combination of religious, racial, cultural and ethnic biases. While the term's etymology might suggest that antisemitism is directed against all Semitic peoples, since its creation it has been used exclusively to refer to hostility towards Jews. Antisemitism may be manifested in many ways, ranging from individual expressions of hatred and discrimination against individual Jews to organized violent attacks by mobs or even state police or military attacks on entire Jewish communities. Extreme instances of persecution include the German Crusade of 1096, the expulsion from England in 1290, the Spanish Inquisition, the expulsion from Spain in 1492, the expulsion from Portugal in 1497, various pogroms, and the most infamous, the Holocaust under Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany...."

CNS reports that it has already begun.

"...Web sites that cater to white supremacists and neo-nazis have also received messages with anti-Semitic sentiments about the economy with “great frequency,” the ADL said.

In August, the ADL reported that white supremacists and anti-Semites not only continued their racist attacks against Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Barack (D-Ill) but also opened up a front against Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain (R-Ariz) painting him as a pawn of the Jews.

Foxman said then that both candidates are “equally unacceptable” to white supremacists who see both as being “tainted by the controlling hand of Jews” who they say control the government.

In one particularly offensive cartoon, McCain and Obama are shown kissing the buttocks of a hook-nosed, stereotypical Jew standing under an American flag with a Jewish star on it replacing the 50 stars.

According to the ADL, the number anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. declined by six percent in 2007 to 1,460 incidents of vandalism, harassment and other acts of hate against Jewish individuals, property and community institutions from 1,554 incidents in 2006...."

In Israel they are preparing for immigrants refugees from anti-Semitism world wide, but especially from Europe.

"...Gabbai recounted the surge of Aliyah from Argentina during tough economic times there in the end of the 90s. He added that Israel is currently seeing heavier Aliyah from France, where, he said, Jews are experiencing the harshest anti-Semitism since the Second World War. MK Gabbai hopes that these conditions are likely to embolden Jews to draw clear conclusions and consider Aliyah...."

THE OBAMA PROBLEM

Barach Obama has a history of associating with individuals who have not exactly been friendly to Israel. Campaign advisor Samantha Powers has advocated a military invasion of Israel to create a Palestinan state. H/T Atlas Shrugs, where there is additional information. Then there is Rashid Khalidi.

Gateway also has the information about a fake PAC that create a "ad" promoting Obama's support for Israel. More at Commentary:

"...Take a look at this one. The producers will tell you: look, many Israelis support Obama. But how many? And whom? They’ll tell you these are Israelis on both Left and Right. Not true. They say supporters of Obama are both secular and observant. I think they’ll have a huge problem on their hands if they try to prove that point. All this does not mean that Obama is problematic–but it does mean that the clip is misleading. I wrote about it last week, at the request of France-24’s “The Observers”: “finding five or six or even 20 Israelis supporting Obama is easy, but the truth of the matter is quite simple - those are mostly left-wing Israelis, representing a small minority of the Jewish population.”

But this is not the end of the story. The video uses various tricks to create a false impression that people from all quarters support Obama. Thus, it contains footage from a TV show in which Nathan Diament of the Orthodox Union (and, let’s admit it right here, they wanted his black yarmulke on screen) are shown. Diament felt the need to release a statement saying that “The footage and identification may mislead some viewers to think that the OU or Nathan Diament are endorsing Barack Obama for president. This is not the case. The OU is a tax-exempt, non-partisan organization and does not endorse or oppose candidates for elective office.”

The clip also presents “Former Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee” Naomi Chasan, an Obama supporter. Conveniently enough–and I don’t think is sheer forgetfulness–the producers do not mention Chasan’s party affiliation. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, but she’s a member of Meretz, Israel’s party on the far Left - not exactly a representative of mainstream Israeli public opinion (my larger take on the Israeli Left’s fascination with Obama is here)...."
