TO LISTEN TO THE PUNDITS
It's too bad Bill O'Reilly doesn't have the integrity of a Michael Medved. Today on Medved's radio show, he hammered Joe Biden on the LIES Biden told during the debate. O'Reilly who claims to be fair and balanced spoke about Sarah Palin like she was little more than a trained flying monkey. Granted she wears Fonkie Monkey shoes, but that is no indication she's the semian in question.
Medved calls it like he sees it calling some of Biden's comments in the debate a stinking, vicious, foul lie. "Biden sucked wind." "How can decent people take him seriously." I guess that puts Bill O'Reilly in his place, right? How can O'Reilly be an honest journalist and maintain his integrity and not do a quick fact check on Biden's myriad of lies. To me the biggest whopper was the one about the little eatery he would visit - which closed 14 years ago! Even Hillary said she did a good job. In other words, even though he claims to be independent, Bill O'Reilly leans Demoratic. He seems to be relying on their anti-Palin talking points.
Then again so is just about everyone in the MSM and FOX. With the exception of Hannity, no one on FOX is even bothering to tell the truth about the debate and Biden's lies. What's going on here?

Since the moment John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his VP Nominee, pseudo-non-elite egos like Bill O'Reilly have been on her case. The way O'Reilly talks about her, she's not capable of having a lucid thought in her pretty little head. He wonders if she can comprehend complex matters of state. Upon listening to his post-debate commentary, one was left with the opinion that he considered her little more than a trained monkee - a side show freak.
He claims to be independent, but fawned all over Barack Obama and never asked him the hard questions about Tony Rizko or Bill Ayers, or his associations with ACORN. When it came to Joe Biden, O'Reilly takes at face value Biden's male authority on matters of state, never mind that Biden made some very serious mistakes. If Sarah Palin had made the same mistakes, she would be kicked off the ticket and turned into an international disgrace. Instead, Biden is hailed as the great debater.
O'Reilly took on Barney Frank. Why couldn't he do the same thing with the mendacity of Joe Biden? Evidently O'Reilly and his ilk never bothered reading things like the NY Post.
Something is wrong here. When pundits like O'Reilly starts shredding a person like Sarah Palin, they expect that person to know EVERYTHING or to be sent home in disgrace. They have a tendency to forget that even the lowliest freshman Congressman has a staff who keeps her informed on topics of importance. No one with any reason expects anyone to know everything, unless you are Sarah Palin and the world is trying to make a fool out of you.
Executives have what's known as a staff. That staff is responsible for research, facts, figures and briefings of specific information. Only during these idiotic debates is a person to pretend to know everything.
Once upon a time, way back when, God asked Solomon what he wanted - and he could have anything. Solomon chose wisdom. A good leader needs just that - wisdom. Let the flunkies research just how to pronounce the latest dictator of the latest two bit country to be over-run by Al Qaeda. A real executive leader doesn't have time for all the nasty little details. Jimmy Carter was a detail person. Ronald Reagan was a broad picture kind of POTUS.
Sarah Palin is being criticized for not attacking Joe Biden when he let out one of his 14 or so "lies". What good would it have done? He's a man. He has a zipper. He has a deep, comnanding voice and went to law school. Sarah Palin is a two year governor from a frozen waste of a state no one really cares about. She can't possibly know anything. Joe Biden has been in the Senate for 23 years and shouldn't be questioned.
You want to now who the real fools are? Pundits and alleged journalists like Bill O'Reilly who refuse to look beyond the zipper. After all Sarah Palin is a former beauty queen. She can't possibly have an original thought in that pretty little head of hers.
