NOW I'M IMPRESSED
Regular Pink Flamingo readers know what a fan I am of Sarah Palin. Well, now she's impressed me. Look at those heels. She stood there for nearly 2 hours, no squirming, no shifting from one foot to another in an ouch my feet hurt! I'd have my shoes off in 10 minutes and stand there barefoot. (I've taken my shoes off in a number of locations where one should be properly shod, including the Metropolitan Opera). The only pair of heels I still own are the Ferragamos I wore to an intimate little luncheon with Ronald Reagan and 300 other of his closest friends, while he was still POTUS! I think that's the last time I wore heels. Not only did Sarah Palin soundly trounce Joe Biden, but she did it in those heels. WOW!
