 I'm traveling. We were off to a late start, so I am way behind in my work. Much to my annoyance the blog ate today's PDS entry and I'm too tired to re-create it. An Interesting Larry Sinclair Tale

ANNOYING THE OBAMITES!It really doesn't matter what or how you think of Larry Sinclair. I thought he would fade into the woodwork months ago, but he has not. Yesterday in Grand Rapids he completely disrupted Obama's "huge" college rally. Obama Who has the story, which I am going to do a copy/paste because it is rather interesting. THE CHARACTER OF THE NATION
I was watching a show about the Wild West the other night. One of the leading scholars of the era was discussing how we have a need for larger than life characters here in America. We Americans need heroes - men and women - who reflect the character of our nation. Our heroes are men and women big enough to tame the Big Country. If they did not exist, we would invent them.

No Way I Can Walk a Mile in Sarah Palin's Heels

NOW I'M IMPRESSED Regular Pink Flamingo readers know what a fan I am of Sarah Palin. Well, now she's impressed me. Look at those heels. She stood there for nearly 2 hours, no squirming, no shifting from one foot to another in an ouch my feet hurt! I'd have my shoes off in 10 minutes and stand there barefoot. (I've taken my shoes off in a number of locations where one should be properly shod, including the Metropolitan Opera).
