WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29

The article is about the two princes doing the 007 premier, but the real story is the way they treated the injured soldiers who were attending.

I'M MAD

Today while voting I ran afoul of a vile Obama supporter.  I came close to having a tantrum at the polling place.  I think everyone there was furious with me because I kept asking questions.  I discovered our local officials were not to blame for the stupidity and First Amendment problems thrust upon us by the corrupt New Mexico system.  The voting corruption in this state gets worse and worse.  The two problems I encountered today would be, back in SC, enough to make a heck of a lot of trouble.  Here, though, it's just a way of ...   more »

BURNING COALS
One of the benefits of my new study of Proverbs is the renewed discovery of wonderful sayings and some of the most sage advise ever given.  I am reminded of one that is a particular favorite of my mother's.

WHEN WILL IT STOP?
The one journalist I've learned to respect this election cycle is Greta Van Susteren.  She is fair.  She's honest.  She's also demanding the MSM stop the attacks against Sarah Palin.  The actions of the MSM this year have been deplorable. They are ruining themselves.  Many of us will shed no tears when as we watch the death rattle of once respectable institutions.  We're told she is a drag to the GOP ticket.

It is perfectly acceptable for a effegy of Sarah Palin to be hung.  Of course it is Halloween. But, if the ...   more »
View Article  Wednesday's Hero - "The Digger"

Wednesday Hero was started to put a spotlight on the men and women of the United States military and the bravery their show day in and day out.  But on a few occasions a service members of an allied nation has been profiled.  Such is the case this week.

Despite being shot twice during an ambush in Afghanistan, an SAS (Special Air Service) soldier from Australia lashed himself to the front of his patrol vehicle so he wouldn't be left behind if he passed out from loss of blood and kept on fighting.

The Digger is expected to be recommended ...   more »
