FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24 Rumsfeld's mother went Target shopping today and now he has a Halloween Costume. He's going to be....psst - it's a big secret, but let's just say he's going to be a critter with a white stripe down it's back. We all know he's a little stinker!
This is THE WEEKEND. The Pink Flamingo will spend the entire weekend celebrating Wyatt Earp, Tombstone, and Doc Holiday! This is our weekend to celebrate the lives of heroes. It begins tomorrow with a celebration of the life of my dear friend, Tim Rich, who 'went home' on Monday.

FRIDAY EDITIONI'm coming to the conclusion the reason the press is doing its best to destroy Sarah Palin is to divert attention from the real problem, The One. It is reaching the point where, even if she rolled up and died or went back to Alaska, tail between her legs, she wouldn't do that right. It is getting all to insane. I think that is the only term for it. Howard Kurtz has a hit piece in the WPost that is absolutely amazing. In other words, those of us who support Sarah Palin are now a cult.

UNCLE or 911?It's one thing to be a little hot under the collar during the last weeks of a hard fought campaign and put a Palin bumper sticker on the car of a die hard O-bot, but that just good clean campaign fun. FYI - you only do it to someone you know. But - it's another to engage in hard-core vandalism. Not only are the usual suspects (strange how they are all Democrats, because we know all Republicans are Perfect!) not content to vandalize cars in their own neighborhoods, but now they are branching out. ARE WE ALL BEING CONNED?
If you have read my previous post, you can tell I am giving in to pre-election hysteria. I go back and forth, on and off the ledge. Last week I quit looking at the electoral count. It is much saner that way. After something a regular Pink Flamingo reader emailed me, I am wondering if we are looking at Barack Obama the right way. 1. Is he a drug dealing college student?
2. Is he the very aware community activist?
3. Is he the community organizer?

MAN TRAPIf you take the time to zoom through the blog world, one of the most frequently used word paired with the Obama Campaign is FRAUD. Be it voter registration fraud, credit card fraud, the improper reporting of campaign donations, or even fraud in the caucuses. I've spent the blogging day pointing out various aspects of Barack Obama's fascinating hold on the psyche of the bone-headed and brain dead. Yes, he frightens me. No, I am not hysterical. I'm angry, but not bitter.

NOT JUST AN "OBAMA" THINGThis Obama idea of 'spreading the wealth around' isn't just something for his campaign. I recently had the misfortune of having to listen to a local Democratic candidate for Congress against Ed Tinsley. Harry Teague has been running some of the most disgusting and offensive campaign ads I've seen this season. His most recent involves "hitting" Tinsley because he was the "millionaire" owner of a chain of successful restaurants.
