FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10
I'm finally home. I did not reach Lincoln County in time to pick Rumsfeld up from the poodle spa, so I'm home, alone, with the cats. They appear to be enjoying the situation. The most exciting part of the trip was while we were unpacking my parents' car. My father and the neighborhood skunk came within about 6 feet of one another. A good time was had by all, except for the skunk, who chickened out, did not spray, and waddled back into the thicket.

I’ve always said that history is cyclical – what goes around comes around. Historians of every ilk are saying that we are in one of those “moments” of time where we are standing at a cross-roads. This nation can go either way. We can either remain a Republic or deteriorate ... more »

NOW HE'S GETTING SCARYI am not one who is given to conspiracy theories, aside from the gunman on the Grassy Knoll. But - after seeing some of the whacked out Obama things that are going on, I'm ready for a padded cell. I give up. I surrender. I have reached the point where I am beginning to join those ranks of people who think The One is up to no good. He's manipulating so many young people, washing their brand new brains, clean.
Sarah Palin thinks he is unfit to be POTUS.
