RON PAUL & THE CHRISTIANS
RON PAUL & MLK, JR.
Did you happen to notice the email Ron Paul sent out about the MLK, Jr. holiday? It was disgusting. Dave at Oricus has noted this. He’s also adopting my “lemmings” term. Dave notes the press release that comes from ON HIGH.
“…“It is especially fitting that we take the time to reflect on one man’s struggles to defend our Constitutional freedoms during this primary election season. January 15 was the birthday of the great freedom fighter, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and on Monday, we honor him nationwide for his sacrifice and love of liberty for all people.
“To me, the timing is more than a coincidence. The American people, regardless of color or creed, have the opportunity to choose a candidate who will uplift the ideals for which Dr. King fought—and died.
“The fight for freedom—the preservation of our civil rights—is the fight of our lives. Sadly, after Dr. King’s passing we are faced with a violation of our civil rights in the same vein as Jim Crow: The Patriot Act. I have stood against this and all unconstitutional violations of American’s civil rights, and will continue Dr. King’s charge as President.
“Dr. King would be disappointed in our current administration for more than its continued disregard for civil rights, as he stated ‘a nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual doom.’ We need to change our interventionist foreign policy, and take care of our brothers and sisters at home. Our nation is in a crisis: we are spending billions on war overseas while those around us are suffering and losing jobs, homes, and hope. It is inexcusable; we must solve the economic crisis at home and bring hope to America.
“Dr. King’s heroic actions should resonate with us today, as we recognize that our votes strengthen the fight for our civil rights. Liberty is the true antidote to racism, and freedom-- limited, constitutional government devoted to the protection of individual rights—can uplift us all.”…”

Paul was involved with the authorship of his newsletters, which were probably penned by uber libertarian Lew Rockwell.
“… Rockwell has denied responsibility for the newsletters' contents to The New Republic's Jamie Kirchick. Rockwell twice declined to discuss the matter with reason, maintaining this week that he had "nothing to say." He has characterized discussion of the newsletters as "hysterical smears aimed at political enemies" of The New Republic. Paul himself called the controversy "old news" and "ancient history" when we reached him last week, and he has not responded to further request for comment.
But a source close to the Paul presidential campaign told reason that Rockwell authored much of the content of the Political Report and Survival Report. "If Rockwell had any honor he'd come out and I say, ‘I wrote this stuff,'" said the source, who asked not to be named because Paul remains friendly with Rockwell and is reluctant to assign responsibility for the letters. "He should have done it 10 years ago."
Rockwell was publicly named as Paul's ghostwriter as far back as a 1988 issue of the now-defunct movement monthly American Libertarian. "This was based on my understanding at the time that Lew would write things that appeared in Ron's various newsletters," former AL editor Mike Holmes told reason. "Neither Ron nor Lew ever told me that, but other people close to them such as Murray Rothbard suggested that Lew was involved, and it was a common belief in libertarian circles."…”

The newsletters were a moneymaking machine!
“…Besides Ron Paul and Lew Rockwell, the officers of Ron Paul & Associates included Paul's wife Carol, Paul's daughter Lori Pyeatt, Paul staffer Penny Langford-Freeman, and longtime campaign manager Mark Elam (who has managed every Paul congressional campaign since 1996 and is currently the Texas coordinator for the presidential run), according to tax records from 1993 and 2001. Langford-Freeman did not respond to interview requests as of press time. Elam, president of M&M Graphics and Advertising, confirmed to reason that his company printed the newsletters, but said that the texts reached him as finished products.
The publishing operation was lucrative. A tax document from June 1993—wrapping up the year in which the Political Report had published the "welfare checks" comment on the L.A. riots—reported an annual income of $940,000 for Ron Paul & Associates, listing four employees in Texas (Paul's family and Rockwell) and seven more employees around the country. If Paul didn't know who was writing his newsletters, he knew they were a crucial source of income and a successful tool for building his fundraising base for a political comeback….”

In Feb of 1990 Paul wrote:
“…Boy it sure burns me to have a national holiday for that pro-communist philanderer, Martin Luther King. I voted against this outrage time and time again as a Congressman. What an infamy that Ronald Reagan approved it. We an thank him for our annual Hate Whitey Day.”
I thought Paul said he wasn’t racist. Check out Libertarian Republican.
SHOW ME THE MONEY
From Lew Rockwell
Richard Viguerie is now supporting Ron Paul. He is now attempting to recruit “Christians” to THE CAUSE. Viguerie is putting all his “Christian” resources behind the support of Ron Paul by creating The Ultimate Ron Paul Site. Now the fascinating thing about this is the fact that Viguerie is a puppet of Sun Myung Moon. The site is designed by Political Media It goes directly back to Viguerie’s protégé Bill Green. They are also the ones behind the Rudy Mac Romney the new Ron Paul Bot buzz word.
FOLLOW THE BOUNCING DOLLAR SIGN
This is fascinating. Bill Green, Viguerie’s protégé is joined at the hip with Alan Keyes. Alan Keyes is now the ‘show me the money’ behind the Chris Simcox minutemen, et. al. In fact, Simcox started having serious money issues when he joined forces with Keyes Declaration Alliance. The bottom line with Viguerie – SHOW ME THE MONEY In fact, Viguerie would rather see the GOP defeated. He can line his pockets with more money. I’ve written about Viguerie and Moon several times.
THE BOTTOM LINE
There’s a bottom line here. First, as I have shown time and time again, Viguerie truly detested Ronald Reagan. I don’t think he has much affection for Ron Paul either. Richard Viguerie is about one thing and one thing only – MONEY. The Ron Paul machine has proved it is a huge money making monster. I believe this has always been so with Paul. Viguerie, Green, Keyes, and Simcox want a piece of the action. I don’t know about you but we are definitely having fun now! This is not about conservative, patriotism, elections, Ron Paul, Christianity, or anything else but MONEY. It isn't immigration. It isn't about preserving the Republic. It is about Viguerie and his his little band of Merry Men robbing from the rich and giving to themselves.
