WHEN RACISM ISN’T RACISM AT ALL
“This is what happens any time anyone
tries to question a statement or a position of Senator Obama.
The response is, ‘You’re attacking me personally,’
and that relieves him of the obligation to address the substance.”

NOTE: In order to diffuse allegations of Islamic and Black “Supremacist” ties, I will now refer to Barack Hussan Obama as “Barry” Obama.
So Bill & Hill are a little emotional about things. Hillary proves she is human and does the Daddy’s Spoiled Little Girl thing (It takes one to know one), cries and phones home. Bill rushes to her defense. It is nice to know that in this wild and crazy world of their wild and crazy relationship ups and downs that Bill was capable of defending Hill. Now I don’t know if it was out of actual “love” (the amorous) type or the pursuit of power or a little of both, but it was nice to see.
Bill goes all “male” and reacts, lashing out at the object of Hill’s distress and literally takes that object, the very immature and ultra charming Barry Obama and shreds him, leaving the little tyke bleeding by the side of the campaign trail. Aside from the fact that it was one of the worst tongue lashings I’ve ever seen, let’s give Bill kudos for defending Hill. I didn’t know he had it in him.
On the other hand, once again, Bill comes tripping in like a charming, but drunken husband, stumbling around like a bull in the proverbial china cabinet, busting everything up all around him. Have you ever seen Moonraker (of course you have unless you are living in a galaxy far far away). There’s a seen when James Bond (Roger Moore) takes out one of the bad guys and a fortune in art glass in a gallery in Vienna. That’s the way I look at Bill, every time he zooms in on his El Camino, complete with astro-turf in the back end (don’t ask don’t tell) he just makes things worse. My friend Jeff, the Freudian psychologist, could have a field day with it, but I’m not that bright. Let’s just give him (Bill, not Jeff) the benefit of the doubt, the way we have so charitably done since 1992. In other words, he’s probably doing his best to sand bag Hill.
Oh the other hand…..
Little Barry Obama has been asking for it for a few weeks now. If you’re going to pretend to act all grown up and play with the big kids, you need to learn that in the game of life (Major League Baseball) bean-balls hurt, and hard-ball is a dangerous game played by grown men who are frequently allegedly hopped up on steroids. Bill Clinton, arguably the best political mind of my generation – I said arguably, I think the honor belongs to the Late, Great Lee Atwater – plays hard ball. Evidently Widdle Barry Obama is still playing in the Pee Wee leagues where he runs crying to mommy when someone throws at him. If he were adult enough to be running for the most important job in the history of human civilization, he would realize he can go running home every time someone tries to brush him back. At least Hill faced her problems, got knocked down, picked herself up, dusted herself off, and took her base. Then she stole home.
"...Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign has prepared a detailed memo listing various instances in which it perceived Sen. Hillary Clinton’s campaign to have deliberately played the race card in the Democratic primary. The memo, which was obtained by the Huffington Post and has been made public elsewhere, is believed to have been given to an activist and contains mostly excerpts from different media reports. It lists the contact info and name of Obama’s South Carolina press secretary, Amaya Smith, and is broken down into five incidents in which either Clinton, her husband Bill, or campaign surrogates made comments that could be interpreted as racially insensitive. The document provides an indication that, in private, the Obama campaign is seeking to capitalize on the view - and push the narrative - that the Clintons are using race-related issues for political leverage...."
NOTE TO BARRY: Grow Up!
In fact, Captain Ed has also graciously provided us with something I've been waiting to use against the Dems since 1988. Bless You Captain Ed for coming up with the stats on Dan Quayle, proving that Danny Boy, so horribly harassed by hideous Democrats during his tenure as VP, had more experience than does Barry. (Okay I admit it, the use of Barry is designed to bring another Barry in mind - as did the steroid reference). I checked the Wikipedia reference Captain Ed provided.

"...Addendum: Just for giggles, look how much time Quayle had in Congress when he got picked as Bush 41's running mate, and look how much experience the three leading Democrats have had. He beat Hillary by five years, Edwards by six, and Obama by nine...."

THE BRUSH BACK PITCH
So, Bill takes out Barry, who goes all Pee-Wee on the world, then denies it. All his widdle friends start crying “racism”. And there in is the real rhubarb.
HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM
Immediately, Bill, THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT, loses his title. He is now tattooed with the nasty phrase “racism”. I’ve said some nasty things about Bill over the years, but the one thing I’ve never called him is ‘Racist’ and I’m one of his most passionate critics. But, when you are a Rookie Leaguer with a .220 lifetime BA, very few hits, no home runs and maybe two RBI’s, what’s left but to cry ‘racist’ and have a temper tantrum. I know, it’s a double standard. On Hill it was ‘endearing’ and a seminal moment on the American Political Scene – when women truly were liberated.
Hill’s liberation was from the expectations of feminists that women had to be exactly like men. By showing she was every bit a woman, with a woman’s emotions and reactions. We women are different from men. Want to know a dirty little secret about women – why we avoid confrontation and power scenes – because there are some of us who secrete water from our eyes. It is a sign of weakness in men, so it must obviously be a sign of weakness in women. Physicians are even now realizing that a woman’s heart is different from a man – and must be treated differently. We are different.
I find the act of crying and phoning home – for help – is a sign of strength. My grandfather Froehlich always said the sign of an educated person was knowing when to ask for help and who to ask for help. I’ve always found everything he said to be true. So, we must consider Hill’s asking for help and showing emotion a sigh that she knows when she is in over her head and will ask for advise.
On the other hand when a man is running for the same office, and cannot allow any criticism (if he wins that’s all he’s going to get, look at GWB), cannot answer questions, and allows his followers to start screaming racism, well, I don’t consider that the hall-mark of a man. It’s the action of a little immature twerp who isn’t ready to even be in the Senate, let alone be POTUS.
From 2008Central.Net
"...At the very least, Obama has been asked questions about his record on this issue. Bill’s criticism is probably more towards the larger coverage of the issue in the campaign and goes to his contention that Obama is getting a bit of a free ride in the press. This is probably true, but to what extent, I’m not really sure. However, he’s not really getting a free ride from the press on the Iraq issue, since there’s not really much to go after Obama about regarding this issue. It’s also worth noting, that both Obama’s and Clinton’s positions are practically identical on how to proceed with respect to Iraq.
There are two takeaways: First, everyone needs to simply cool off on both dissecting a fleeting remark that Bill made that turned out to be largely true, except for the inaccuracy on the issue of Obama saying whether or not he would have voted for the resolution. Secondly, these charges of racism that appear so quickly and unfounded do nothing but cloud the political discourse with drama and distract from substantive policy discussion. Like I did with this post, which really didn’t take me very long, the mainstream media should spend a bit more time clarifying issues like this instead of creating controversies...."

Racism is a horrible, nasty thing. I know I do quite a bit of work on nativists, and have a tendency to throw the “R-Word” around a bit, but I ‘calls ‘em as I sees ‘em. Attacking a candidate, any candidate, on their record, or lack-there-of is not racism. I don’t care what color the candidate is. Frankly, I don’t intend to vote for either candidate mentioned here. I’m a Republican. The beauty about being a Republican is the only way our candidates is on their records and whether of not they are pure conservative ideologues. Every once in awhile a multi-million dollar bonus baby radio talk show host will have an abjectly irrational hatred of one of our people (John McCain this year) and do their best to destroy them (Mike Huckabee) but we don’t bring race into the fold – that way.
I will admit “conservative” racism is hidden in such words as ‘border security’ and ‘the rule of law applies to everyone’, this sort of thing. Unless a person is a Ron Paul bot (and these are not Republicans) we have a tendency to be polite. Once conservatives who do vote Republican realize they are being racist when it comes to immigration and Hispanics, the penance will be harsh and self-inflicted. The problem is we aren’t there yet.
I also think we Republicans (who gives a rip about conservatives) are much less racist than our Democrat counterparts. We’ve worked as hard as we possibly can to bring conservative versions of Barack Obama into the party – not because they have his skin color, but because we want everyone to be Republican. We also choose the most qualified person for the job regardless of race or gender. It has nothing to do with quotas. To denigrate Bill Clinton, who has proved that he isn’t racist, on the question of race, is just plain wrong.
What Barry Obama is doing is just plain wrong.
What people are doing – assuaging their self-infected politically correct white guilt by voting for Obama if they are only doing so because of race is also wrong.
For Obama’s supporters to inflict feelings of white guilt on stupid white liberals, well it is a bit funny. The problem is we need to be dealing with his abysmally liberal record. Until Republicans have the courage to scream and shout it isn’t his race – well, we’re sunk. If the far far far conservative (not Republican) right were not so unbending when it comes to immigration reform and did not act so RACIST when it comes to Hispanics and Mexicans, maybe they could do so with credibility.
And so, this leads me to John McCain. Because of his human stance on immigration reform, he is the only Republican who can honestly and logically strike Barry Obama out with three nasty little fast-balls. Anyone else, because of their nativist pandering, are nothing but a bunch of bloopers.
DESTROYING THE GOP
The best way to destroy the GOP and insure that a Dem is elected in November is too keep up the following tactics.
"...Latino and other minority groups see racial codes in many of the words the Republican candidates have used — for instance, "illegals" rather than "illegal immigrants." And hovering around the campaigns are far more strident figures and organizations. Immigration groups were taken aback when Huckabee accepted the endorsement of Jim Gilchrist, the founder of the border-security Minuteman Project, calling it "providential."
Mothers Against Illegal Aliens recently posted a plea for people to bring their own sheets and utensils to hotels and restaurants because "the person who cooked your meal or made your bed may very well be the one who picked your fruit and vegetables," suggesting that immigrants are spreading disease.
"We as a community are under attack," Munoz said.
Its members have pledged to fight back. A coordinated campaign, by Latino political groups, service unions, Spanish-language television and radio stations and print-media outlets helped entice more than 1 million immigrants to apply for citizenship through October, said Arturo Vargas, executive director of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials Educational Fund. The campaign is now shifting to voter registration and education.
"I think many folks underestimate how sophisticated immigrants and immigrant voters are," Vargas said. "People are seeing participation in the political arena as an act of self-defense."
Officials in most of the Republican campaigns say they are not worried. Their candidates have distinguished between their opposition to illegal immigration and their support for legal immigration. And all voters share concerns about security and the rule of law, said Maria Comella, a spokeswoman for the Giuliani campaign.
But other Republicans are not as sanguine. Mehlman warned that without a concerted effort to woo back the Latino voters the campaigns have turned off, the GOP may be in trouble. "Is there a basic concern?" he asked. "The answer is 'yes.' "..."
