Immigration Prof  Blog once again links to a heart-wrenching story.
I simply do not understand how someone who considers themselves an enlightened human can read something like this and not have it pull at their heart. Then, to denigrate it by calling it “liberal propaganda” is just plain wrong.  There is a point where a person must use their heart.  If not, I begin to wonder if that person isn’t something of a sociopath without the ability to feel for or comprehend the human experience.   There is just something hideously immoral about a person who would break up a ‘normal’ functioning family because someone was here illegally.  And – an illegal border crossing is not a felony.  Is it s misdemeanor crime.

The WTimes  (bless their ultra conservative little hide) is hysterical over the most recent developments along the El Paso – Juarez border.  REALITY:  This is THE biggest border crossing in the US – the busiest.  El Paso and Juarez are like the Twin Cities.

A MINI RANT
I am sick and tired of anti-immigration racists and bigots who have no idea what goes on in El Paso and along the border trying to ram John Tanton’s own personal views down the throats of everyone else in the country.  If just ONE of these little puppets would come up with just ONE set of statistics that hasn’t been tainted by one of John Tanton’s organizations I might listen.  So far, NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH.

There is no reality.  In El Paso/Juarez it is like any modern city.  Illegal immigration is not the number one priority over there.  Commerce is.  We’re talking about the ebb and flow of millions of people.  It is also proof-positive that the extreme immigration position taken by extreme conservatives (talk about a contradiction in terms) is completely unworkable.

Contradiction in Terms:  Conservative Immigration Reform Once Upon A Time conservatives believed in limited government and limited government interference.

RUDY GIULIANI AND THE UNPARDONABLE SIN
Rudy Giuliani has committed the unpardonable sin.  He says Illegal Immigration is not a crime!
