The Florida Masochist is now dealing with every melanoma survivor’s worst nightmare.  After 12 years being ‘clean’ the mel is back and at a Stage III.   Please keep Don in your prayers.  

For what it’s worth, there is a new GOP Straw Poll.  I have no faith in them as of now.  But, I’ve put it up on the blog.  

Doc Holiday has a new blog with an exciting announcement regarding her future plans.

The air has been sucked out of the political world and news in general.  Maybe it is the Craig story.  Maybe it is the fact that this is the last week of August and one of the most boring weeks of the year.  I can’t find all that much to write about.  There are a few projects I’ve been working on, but I’ve not even finished them.  So, today is blogging lite.  

Doc needs an attitude adjustment.  She has begun celebrating her 7th birthday a little early.  Today she hit the c-nip.  The minute I put some on the floor Rumsfeld dove into it rolling around and eating it!  He wouldn’t let the cats near it.  When Doc gets a little c-nip in her she gets a little nasty, just like her name-sake.  Well, before long she and Rumsfeld went at it.  Rumsfeld lost, as usual.  They spent most of the afternoon sleeping it off, all of them.

This evening I discovered that Bat Masterson likes opera!  

Just when you think it’s safe to go into the water, the anti-democracy sharks are at it again!

Just when I thought all hope for anything interesting was lost, I discover an article by the dangerously conservatively treasonous Davey Kidd about repealing the 17th Amendment.  Not only are these FREAKS interested in dumping the 14th, now they want to take out the 17th.  Wonder when they are going to aim for the first ten?  So, I have a separate posting on that.  If you’ve not read it, you will want to read yesterday’s equally dimwitted story about the same bunch (they are all Ron Paul freaks) taking out the 14th Amendment.
