The following is the most wonderful example of BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome)
I’ve seen to date. Fortunately it is a liberal who came up with this madness, but you need to be aware that there are far right extreme conservatives who think the same thing. I like to think of politics like a clock. Normal Dems are at 9:45. Normal GOP’s are at 3:15. Moderates are at noon. The crazies of both parties are at 6:30. They are so extreme to the left and to the right that they have made some sort of inharmonic lunatic convergence. I think today we are starting to see the full bloom of their insanity.
So, just sit back and enjoy the show. I’ve been working on this article for about an hour, trying to tie in a few things. The more I think about it, the funnier it becomes. Sometimes you just gotta laugh. I must also do a little soul searching. Were we this bad about Clinton? If so, we’re getting everything we deserve. I’m not a Karma kind of person, but maybe this is just ‘bad karma’.
At least GWB is in very good company. The following Presidents were basically harassed from all sides:
Truman
Lincoln
Jefferson
Adams
Reagan (yes Reagan)
And – I just thought of something. The lunitic left must be getting disparate. THEY ACTUALLY WANT A MILITARY REMOVAL OF A POTUS. I thought the military was the enemy. Evidently it’s the old Islamic adage, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Maybe when they read the news that Pace thinks we need a drawdown in Iraq they are so unhinged by their hatred of GWB that they think the military is now turning on him.
Sometimes you just gotta love liberals.
As much as extreme (non GOP) conservatives annoy me at least they KNOW the Constitution and the Rules of Engagement for all things American. The problem with out of control conservatives is they are way too well versed on the Constitution, Founding Fathers, Original Intent, etc. to the point where they are a little self-righteous about it. But liberals – well I think this one proves just how – shall we say – illiterate (Constitutionally) they actually are.
Martin Lewis (ignorant wretch) is calling for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs to arrest the President of the United States.

General Pace - you have the power to fulfill your responsibility to protect the troops under your command. Indeed you have an obligation to do so.
You can relieve the President of his command.
Not of his Presidency. But of his military role as Commander-In-Chief.
You simply invoke the Uniform Code Of Military Justice….”

How can any patriotic American support a regime that has shredded the US Constitution, ignored the separation of powers, violated the Geneva Conventions, forced through a law legalizing torture, launched a war of aggression that has produced 26,000 American military casualties in service of a lie, murdered tens or hundreds of thousands of Muslim civilians, destroyed an entire country, and planned an attack on Iran, perhaps with nuclear weapons?
Patriotism is loyalty to country and to the US Constitution, not loyalty to a criminal regime.
This criminal regime is in the hands of a tiny cabal of fanatical ideologues who would risk the very existence of human life for their perverted ideology that has no higher value than American and Israeli hegemony.

There are mornings when I wake up wondering how much more of this I can take. Between watching our burgeoning police state expand at an exponential rate, to having my oldest son getting his butt shot off in some Iraqi hellhole - it is tempting to think of packing this all in and hightailing off to some remote corner of the world.
However, as much as I would rather be lounging on some white sandy beach with my lovely wife, I feel compelled to stay here and fight this one out. This happened on our watch, and we cannot leave this mess for our kids to clean up.
The enormity of the challenge we face can seem overwhelming at times. An already difficult task has been made next to impossible with the sad revelation that instead of the praying Christian we thought we elected in 2000, our President has turned out to be a liar and a murderer, like his father the devil. That will probably sound a little (ok, a lot) harsh to some, but it is too late in the game to pussyfoot around the truth any longer, so I am just going to say it like it is. (See Rev. 2:2)
If George Bush were the only one attempting to stampede our nation over a cliff, we might have a chance of putting up some real opposition. But unfortunately, most of those who rule alongside him seem to share his diabolical death wish. Not a good sign.
The enemies of freedom have pulled off an amazing feat by convincing the American people that there are two opposing political parties – when in fact, we are living under one party rule. To hide that reality from the people, they keep us so busy chasing after the symptoms, (and our tails!) that few are even able to identify the disease that infects our nation - which is that a gang of bloodthirsty criminals have seized control of our government….”
