ANOTHER WINDSTREAM BATTLE!


Unfortunately there won’t be much of a rant and rave again today.  I’ve spent much of the day fighting the powers that be at Windstream Telecom over my DSL modem.  I am going to postpone my rant for the morrow.  I wouldn’t be doing this post if it weren’t for my abject menopausal bitchiness and refusal to put up with Windstream’s run-around.  They informed me I wouldn’t have a modem for 3-5 days.  I ranted and raved, then it was pushed up to tomorrow or Friday.  Another phone call – overnight.  I know people.  That’s the joy of living in a small town.  I had my new modem in hand 45 minutes after getting off the phone with Windstream’s customer service.  Those of you who have been reading The Pink Flamingo for awhile are most likely familiar with my never-ending battle with Windstream.  They are incompetent.  They are rude.  They are stupid.  They are.... I think you get the picture!

I think Bat Masterson won the battle of the nap spot today.  Doc and Rumsfeld had a huge fight - with me literally in the middle of the fight - about the time I was having a Windstream meltdown.  I think Doc won.  I heard Rums cry. 

PRAYER REQUEST:  Jean Newberry needs prayer.  She is tired, over-worked, and needs surgery.  Her daughter has requested prayer for her.

I am forced to agree with Allahpundit over at Hot Air today! Michelle Dellecroce (Mothers Against Illegal Aliens) is an idiot.  She is a dimwit.  Okay, that’s as far as I go agreeing with the posting, though.

The article reads like the voice of doom “One in Four Read No Book Last Year”.
 I’m impressed!  Why?  As a writer of books, I am pleased that 75% of the American people read a book last year.  That’s cool.

If Romney were to be nominated, he would engender more anti-votes than would Hillary.  Me too!
