You just don’t know how funny I have found today’s edition of extreme trackback spam – close to 400 pieces (as of 2PM) 75% of it was for Viagra. I don’t know if our dear little trolls are trying to make a commentary about me, but I have news for them – they would be better served by offering up solutions for bitchy menopause than the other gender. Of course, I gather this is a commentary about their personal problems. It sure makes sense to me. At least they are a bit more creative. Look, if you really want to do something constructive, I need a trackback for a good looking white ceiling fan with a light fixture attached. I am also in the market for a very nice white leather handbag and don’t want to pay $400 for it. And, I have a shoe habit, so come up with some trackbacks for me for cute little dressy flip flops and sandals. If you can find a pair of white mules with a 1 – 1.5 inch mule I won’t delete that one! Do you have anything else to do with your life?
No word on Miss Piggy. I am not optimistic. Last night I was working to remove the grout on the mosaic table I was doing. I wish Bat Masterson could read. I kept telling him it was not good for him to eat the grout chunks and lap up the water that dripped off it while I was cleaning, but he just wouldn’t listen.
I am theme blogging today.
Have you seen Ollie North’s War Stories about Hollywood in World War II? In many ways it should put today’s Hollywood to shame. Hollywood lead the way in fighting WWII. But – today? I think the forces that be in the film industry should be ashamed of themselves, but what the heck. We’re not really in a war against terror. It’s just GWB’s war. Right?
NEWS I can’t believe Outside the Beltway beat me to a new Dino story! While I may have totally disagreed with Malkin yesterday, she is exactly right about this one! In the Bull Pen and William Jefferson’s Nigerian connections
John Edwards plans to win the war on terror via the peace corp. Yikes!JFK PLOT MUST READ: Murdered connection Wrap-up of the story ISLAM Atlas Shrugs and mapping sharia. Captain Ed on the Islamic takeover of London. From American Thinker: The truth about Christian – Moslem marriages AL QAEDA In India A Sahara refuge? South America Mediterranean Curt at Flopping Aces has an excellent commentary today. Iraq Africa THE SUBJEGATION OF WOMEN Feminism Repression in Alexandria The changing role of women in Iraq The one hour marriage rule may not be kosher. Female journalists threatened Preventing Saudi women from driving Iranian women founding new political party ISLAMIC WAR ON CHRISTIANS Three Indonesian Sunday School teachers finally released from prison. The war against Christians in Iraq Islamic courts in Malaysia refuse to allow a woman to convert to Christianity. Why was an Iraqi priest murdered? Christian women in Baghdad are being warned to wear Islamic coverings. Churches in Iraq told to get rid of their crosses. Persecution in Malaysia Persecutions in Asia Pakistan Christians in Iraq are being exterminated.
After last week’s arrests, we have been made aware that Islam is growing in the Caribbean. 10% percent of the population of Guyana is Muslim.
“…Guyanese Muslims who are returning from educational institutions in the Arab world are also encouraging the younger generation to study in the Arabic-speaking countries instead of in Pakistan, India or Malaysia. Many Islamic organizations in Guyana today have their preferences of where they wish to send young people to study. Some of these organizations have forged strong ties with Saudi Arabia, Libya, Iraq, Kuwait and Egypt. However, Muslims still have the opportunities to study in Malaysia, Pakistan or India. But the latter countries are not the top choices of the newer generation of Muslims. The once vibrant relationship with Pakistan and India has now withered. The intelligentsia now looks to the Arabic-speaking world for leadership and religious guidance. However, it is Ironic that to this day Saudi Arabia and Guyana have not established diplomatic relations. This has to happen before the two countries exchange ambassadors and forge diplomatic and cultural ties. This is despite the fact that Guyana and Suriname are today members of the OIC, whose headquarters are based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.” In the Caribbean area, there are now 400,000 Muslims, many with ties to the Saudi version of Islam.
And how about 50,000 in Venezuela?
“… As is the case in Cuba and the Dominican Republic, the Muslim and non-Muslim Arabs of Puerto Rico are not a prominent group. Neither are about 50,000 Muslims who live in Venezuela, nearly all of them recently arrived Arab immigrants attracted by the country's oil industry, with few local religious or community ties. One of the region's strongest religious trends today is the movement toward Islam among blacks. In its initial stages it was associated mainly with black-power groups and their political motives, but this is no longer the case: today the search for their origins is a strong motivating factor for many Caribbean blacks….”
