Now I remember my rant for the day:
A MINI RANT
Was Ron Paul Right?
Don’t get your undies into a wad, I’m not turning wacko, but the other day I did remember something. We were so quick to criticize Ron Paul for his comment about the
My problem is the fact that people do not understand consequences and look at things twenty and thirty years down the line. We must have the ability to consider future consequences of our actions. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. (I got that far in physics). You do something and there is a reaction. If a politician and officer cannot consider the consequences of his/her actions, maybe they don’t need to be in office and they don’t need to be running for office.
I think the perfect example are two of our prettier Dem POTUS candidates. Barack Obama (the messiah) was way over the top today, stating that this day should be about unity, then said something like the day George Bush steps down from office will be a day the world breathes a sigh of relief. He is doing a paraphrase of Charleton Heston’s line in Ben Hur about the day
You know, John Edwards is right. We do need to engage in a little patriotism, and speak out on behalf of our troops. So, I am going to do both with one statement: You can’t honor troops if you don’t support our mission! Get it? P. S. Dear John, I do hope you have a bad hair day!
My question: If someone kills a protected leopard in self defense, after said leopard jumps into their house, do they get to keep the pelt, etc.? Okay, I’m superficial.
John McCain’s Opinion Journal piece. A “Must Read - List”.
I am still hearing from “CW” who is turning into your basic troll.
His/her comments to me are in red, mine in blue:
I don’t know who you are. I find a person who signs posts with initials and a strange hotmail address to be something of a coward and truly afraid to expose their opinions to the light of day. I am beginning to consider you something of a troll because you obviously refuse to read my blog or you would not even be making the comments below.
This is rather humorous. You have completely proven you do not read my blog. You have also proven you did not read the links I provided in my last email. I am at a disadvantage because I do not know who you are or your perspective on things. Here I am expecting a “Patriot” yet I get your completely unpatriotic comments about the American Revolution. Do you know the American Revolution is the most unpopular war in British history?
No way I can set you up for something, if you're both knowledgeable and truthful, is there?
Regarding the American Revolution...
Nice try, but no cigar.
You obviously need to read some British and Canadian historians. Different perspectives.
Hey, I'm glad we won - but I don't have a simpleton view of the American Revolution, like that expressed by some...
I don’t mind being accused of taking the simpleton view of the American Revolution. I also don’t mind admitting that I think George Washington is the Greatest American in History. He taught us how to be Americans.
And of course, you are against the war in
Face it: Many oppose that on MORAL grounds. In other words, you oppose the War in
Where did you read on my blog that I was opposed to the War in
Surely, if you're going to take your positions based on what's moral and what's not, then to be consistent, you will need to come out strongly against GWB, et al. You have DEFINITELY proven you do not read my blog.
Aww yes: Render unto Caeser ... what that actually means has long been debated. Taxes is one answer - but not the only one.
“…Commentary on Matthew 22:15-22 http://www.christnotes.org/commentary.php?com=mhc&b=40&c=22
(Read Matthew 22:15-22)
The Pharisees sent their disciples with the Herodians, a party among the Jews, who were for full subjection to the Roman emperor. Though opposed to each other, they joined against Christ. What they said of Christ was right; whether they knew it or not, blessed be God we know it. Jesus Christ was a faithful Teacher, and a bold reprover. Christ saw their wickedness. Whatever mask the hypocrite puts on, our Lord Jesus sees through it. Christ did not interpose as a judge in matters of this nature, for his kingdom is not of this world, but he enjoins peaceable subjection to the powers that be. His adversaries were reproved, and his disciples were taught that the Christian religion is no enemy to civil government. Christ is, and will be, the wonder, not only of his friends, but of his enemies. They admire his wisdom, but will not be guided by it; his power, but will not submit to it.”
Matter of fact Episcopalians have debated that very issue. It becomes confusing for you, I know.
Guess you'll have to start singling out the "bad" Episcopalians from the "good" Episcopalians. It's your duty, you know. Yep, I don’t mind singling out good from bad Episcopalians. Fact is, check out the blog. I don’t mind admitting I find Peter Akinola of
Then on the 23rd, “CW” posted a very long comment. Here is the URL and just scroll down for “CW” rather rambling discourse. I also provided CW with a link to a SPLC report on both Tanton and the Pioneer Fund. http://www.tolerance.org/news/article_hate.jsp?id=554
I am truly disappointed in you. I thought we were going to have a rational discourse on immigration, not regress into personal barbs.
Thanks for proving my point. I provided you with enough information, and URLS for you to disprove my position. In fact I welcomed it. Fact is, except for denigrating my friend Lindsey Graham (and he is a personal friend – I dedicated my 1st novel to him – and I stand up and fight for my friends) you’ve not even dealt with the DOCUMENTED information I provided as to why I take the position I do.
Unless you can take the information I provided, as you stated in your original comment – why I am against the anti-immigration organizations and the people involved – then I really don’t have time to bother with you. And, I am disappointed. I was enjoying the discourse we were having.
I would love to know what you think about Tom Tancredo and his relationship with John Tanton. What about Tanton himself? What are you thoughts? What do you think about Tanton and his relationship with the Pioneer Fund? And, what do you think about VDARE, Brimelow, CofCC and Stormfront? Do you know what Stormfront is? Did you know the ADL is watching the CofCC in SC and their actions against my friend Lindsey? What do you know about Laine Lawless? Did you know that Peter Brimelow’s twin brother, John is the former leader of a group of neo-Nazis – and NRO was quoting Brimelow last week? Or, how about John Tanton’s relationship to about a dozen anti-immigration organizations. Do you know about Jim Gilchrist’s relationship to Barbara Coe and her relationship to CofCC? Do you know about Chris Simcox and his reputation in and around
If you want specific discourse on these subjects fine. Please disprove my information. If not, find someone else to harass.
