THURSDAY MORNING MISS PIGGY UPDATE

MISS PIGGY UPDATE

I talked to Dr. Franklin’s office a few minutes ago. He is out of the office all day today and did not get in until late yesterday evening.

THE GOOD NEWS: All the blood tests and profiles have come back normal!

There is no pet food poisoning, no feline leukemia, and no toxic substance that will harm the other cats.

THE BAD NEWS: They still do not know what is wrong. She is still not eating.

THE TREATMENT: This morning they are going to hit her with antibiotics and put her an IV fluid drip. They are also going to worm her, big time.

THE PROGNOSIS: We have no idea.

I have requested a set of x-rays be done to make sure she did not inherit Redford’s birth defect of the herniated diaphragm.

Thank you for all of your prayers. They are working. Please continue with them.

I will continue to pray for Miss Piggy. I am glad it's not Feline Leukemia. Whatever it is, I really hope that the antibiotics can cure it.
